Conventionally, the seat belt of a vehicle is always placed on the seat surface in order to keep it in a state where it can be worn, and when it is not in use, it is left in an irregular position on the seat surface, resulting in the seat surface becoming cluttered. In addition, seats for two-door vehicles with a walk-in mechanism have the disadvantage that the seat belt buckle must always be kept on the seat surface, which limits the movement stroke of the seat.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a seat belt storage device for a vehicle seat that can store buckles stably and orderly when the seat belt is not in use. In the fitting hole that penetrates through the skin and pad of the cushion, there is a buckle storage part formed in the shape of an upwardly open box to removably store the seatbelt buckle under the seat surface. , a belt box having a flange connected to the upper edge of the buckle storage part and projecting circumferentially to the side is inserted through the belt box with the flange joined to the skin and the buckle storage part released. The belt box is suspended by the skin around the belt box, and a long hole-shaped insertion opening is provided at the bottom of the belt box to restrict insertion of the buckle and allow the belt body of the seat belt to pass therethrough. It has a configuration.

Reference numeral 6 denotes a belt box embedded in the seat cushion 1, and the belt box 6 has an upwardly open box shape to store the buckle 5b of the seat belt 5 in an upright state under the seat surface 1a in a removable manner. The buckle storage section 60 has a formed buckle storage section 60, and a flange 6a that is connected to the upper edge of the buckle storage section 60 and protrudes laterally in a circumferential shape. The belt box 6 is attached to the seat cushion 1 with the flange 6a sewn to the opening edge 2a of the outer skin 2 together with the hem 8 for end treatment and joined to the outer skin 2, and with the buckle storage part 60 released. The belt box 6 is inserted into the vertically open fitting hole 1b that is opened through the belt box 6 and the pad 3.
A storage chamber 7 is formed in the belt box 6 and has an opening 7a in the seat surface 1a. An elongated insertion opening 9 is formed in the bottom part 6b of the belt box 6 to restrict the insertion of the buckle 5b and allow the belt body 5a to pass therethrough. When in use, the seat belt 5 can be worn by taking out the buckle 5b from the storage chamber 7 and pulling out the belt body 5a, and when the seat belt 5 is not in use, the belt body 5a can be worn.
By pulling back the buckle 5b, the buckle 5b can be stored in the storage chamber 7 in an upright state by restricting its protrusion onto the seat surface 1a.

When a person is seated on the seat cushion 1, the belt box 6 acts together with the seat surface 1a by compressing the seat cushion 1 and is displaced downward, thereby suppressing the protrusion of the buckle 5b above the seat surface 1a. (See Figure 4).

In this example, a buckle 5b of a seat belt 5 is removably stored under the seat surface 1a in a fitting hole 1b that is formed in a seat cushion 1 of a vehicle seat through its skin 2 and pad 3. A buckle storage section 60 is formed in a box shape with an upward opening for
The belt box 6 has a flange 6a that is connected to the upper edge of the buckle storage part 60 and protrudes circumferentially to the side. The flange 6a is joined to the skin 2, and the buckle storage part 60 is released. The belt box 6 is inserted into the bottom part 6b of the belt box 6 and suspended by the outer skin 2 around the belt box 6.
An elongated insertion opening 9 is provided in the seat belt 5 to restrict the insertion of the buckle 5b and to insert the belt body 5a of the seat belt 5 therethrough.

Therefore, when the seat belt 5 is not in use, the buckle 5b can be stored under the seat surface 1a in an upright position that is easy to grasp when taking it out, simplifying the handling of the seat belt 5 and making it easy to always take out the buckle 5b. In addition to being able to store the buckles 5b in an orderly manner, the storage condition of the buckles 5b can be improved.

Further, the belt box 6 is suspended by the skin 2 without being restrained by the pad 3 or the seat frame 4, with its flange 6a joined to the skin 2 and the buckle storage portion 60 released. ,
When a person sits on the belt box 6 and presses down the area around the belt box, the entire belt box 6 is displaced downward and retracted, so that compressive deformation of the belt box 6 is suppressed and the belt box 6
Since the bending deformation of the skin 2 around the seat cushion 1 and the compressive deformation of the pad 3 are allowed, and the downward movement of the entire belt box 6 is allowed, the cushioning properties of the seat cushion 1 around the belt box 6 can be maintained. , it is possible to sit on the belt box 6.

In addition, the belt box has its flange joined to the outer skin and the buckle storage part is released.
It is not restrained by the pads or seat frame but is suspended by the skin, and when you sit on the belt box and press down on the area around the belt box, the entire belt box moves downward and retreats. Compressive deformation of the belt box is suppressed, bending deformation of the skin around the belt box and compressive deformation of the pad are allowed, and the entire belt box is allowed to move downward, so that the seat cushion's deformation around the belt box is suppressed. It has the effect of being able to maintain cushioning properties and making it possible to sit on the belt box.
