有して互いに拡開可能に配設された一対のブレー
キシユーと、一方のブレーキシユーのシユーウエ
ブの一面に一軸心回りの回動可能に設けられ、該
一軸心を中心とする円弧に略沿つて形成された多
数の係合歯を有する調節部材と、該調節部材の係
合歯と係合可能に前記一方のブレーキシユーに固
設されて該調節部材に一方向のみの回動を許容す
る多数の掛止歯とを備え、前記一対のブレーキシ
ユーの拡開時に前記調節部材が前記一方向へ回動
させられることによりシユー間隙が自動的に調節
される形式のシユー間隙自動調節装置を備えたド
ラムブレーキにおいて、 前記係合歯を、前記調節部材の前記一方のブレ
ーキシユーのシユーウエブの一面と対向する面に
設けるとともに、前記掛止歯を、該一方のブレー
キシユーのシユーウエブの一面の該係合歯と対向
する位置に前記一軸心を中心とする円弧に略沿つ
て設けたことを特徴とするシユー間隙自動調節装
