  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １ ベルト裏面を斜方向から照射する投光器と、
    照射されたベルト裏面を観察するイメージセンサ
    と、損傷状態に応じてベルト面に生じる明暗模様
    の映像を電気信号として出力する信号処理手段と
    から成るコンベヤベルトの縦裂き検出装置。 ２ ベルト裏面をベルトトラフ形に応じて幅方向
    に複数分割し、該分割部ごとに投光器とイメージ
    センサとを備えた請求項１記載のコンベヤベルト
    の縦裂き検出装置。 ３ ベルトの幅方向同位置の連続明暗信号を一定
    時間検出したとき、これを縦裂きと判定する信号
    処理装置を備えた請求項１または２記載のコンベ
    ヤベルトの縦裂き検出装置。
