産業上の利用分野
本発明は、家庭用の給湯器によりシヤワーを行

近年、一般家庭の浴室でシヤワーを使用するこ
とが多くなりつつある。これは瞬間湯沸器等の給
湯器の電子制御化の普及により手軽に蛇口を回わ
すだけで適温の湯が得られるようになつたことに
よる。第3図は一般的な家庭給湯のシステム図を
示す。ここでは屋外に設置した瞬間湯沸器1によ
り台所2、洗面3、風呂4、シヤワー5の4カ所
給湯する構成である。湯沸器1はどこかの給湯栓
を開くことにより生じる流水を検出して内部のバ
ーナに点火し、給水口から流出した水を加熱し、
湯にして蛇口に送る。湯温は屋内のリモコン6に
より設定した湯温になるようにバーナの燃焼量を
制御する。(例えば特公昭55−51141号公報)
発明が解決しようとする問題点
前述の第3図に示す構成における一番の問題点
は湯沸器1が燃焼して湯が出て来るまでの間は配
管7内に溜つている冷水(以後死水と呼ぶ)が蛇
口から出て来ることである。特にシヤワー5等で
は直接人体に湯を浴びるため湯温の安定に非常な
注意を要する。従来は使う人が手で湯温の上昇を
確めてからシヤワーを使用するが、特に冬期には

以上説明したように本発明のシヤワーヘツド
は、給湯配管内の死水が流出している間はシヤワ
ーとならず排水口から排水し、死水が終了して湯
温が上昇した時点でシヤワーとなるため、水の出
方を目で確認して死水の終了を知ることができ
る。このことから死水の終了をいちいち手で確認
する必要がなく使い勝手が向上する。さらに湯の
不必要な流出を防ぐことにより、燃料、水の省エ
