Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the appearance of a bow window from the outdoor side and to prevent rainwater or the like from striking directly on an inlet and an outlet, by disposing the inlet and the outlet in the lower-side part of the bow window and by providing an outdoor device incorporated in the bow window and an indoor device being in one body with the outdoor device. CONSTITUTION:An air-conditioner for a bow window has a construction wherein an inlet 2 and an outlet 3 of an outdoor device 7 are so disposed in the lower-side part 1b of the bow window 1 that they are arranged on one surface and wherein the outdoor device 7 and an indoor device 13 put in one body are incorporated in the bow window 1. Accordingly, the inlet 2 and the outlet 3 of the outdoor device 7 are hardly seen from the outdoor side, a fine view of the bow window 1 from the outdoor side is improved and its properties as the interior and the exterior are improved. Besides, rainwater or the like is prevented from striking directly on the inlet 2 and the outlet 3 of the outdoor device 7, no specific countermeasure therefor is dispensed with, a fault of the outdoor device 7 is hardly caused thereby and, therefore, improved functions are obtained. In addition, the outdoor device 7 and the indoor device 13 are not projected outdoors and indoors, but have a flat structure, and thus an improvement in the property as the interior and effective utilization of an indoor space can be attained.

Therefore, the inlet (2) and the outlet (3) were completely visible from the outside, and the aesthetic appearance of the bay window (1) from the outside was not good. Furthermore, since rainwater etc. directly hits the side surface (1a) of the bay window (1), it is necessary to take measures against this at the inlet (2) and the outlet (3). If a large amount of rainwater etc. were to enter the outdoor unit from here, it could cause the outdoor unit to malfunction.

The bay window air conditioner of this embodiment is configured as shown in 111, and has an inlet (2) and an outlet (2) of the outdoor unit (7).
3) is arranged on the lower surface part (1b) of the bay window (1).

Therefore, the inlet (2) and the outlet (3) can be seen from the outside, and the side surface (1a) of the bay window (1) is flat, improving the aesthetic appearance of the bay window (1) from the outside. Efsteria is improved. Also, the side part of the bay window (1) (
Rainwater, etc. directly hits 1a), but hardly hits the bottom part (1b), so special measures against rainwater, etc. are taken at the inlet (1a).
2) and the air outlet (3) are not required. Moreover, since a large amount of rainwater etc. does not enter the outdoor unit (7) from here, the outdoor unit (7) is extremely functional, even if it fails.

In addition, in this embodiment, the outdoor unit (7) and the indoor unit (13)
are integrated into the bay window (1). In this way, by integrating the outdoor unit (7) and indoor unit (13) of the air conditioner into the lower part of the bay window (1),
Since the outdoor unit (7) does not protrude outside, and the indoor unit (13) does not protrude into the room, the interior and exterior quality of the interior and exterior are improved, and a comfortable space can be created. Furthermore, since the outdoor unit (7) and the indoor unit (13) are integrated, no piping work is required during installation, and installation work and maintenance can be done from inside the room, resulting in extremely high workability.

As mentioned above, in the bay window air conditioner of this embodiment, the inlet (2) and the outlet (3) of the outdoor unit (7) are treated in a so-called negative surface treatment state, and the lower surface (1b) of the bay window (1) is ), and the outdoor unit (7) and indoor unit (13) are integrated into the bay window (1).

Therefore, the suction inlet (2) and the outlet (3) of the outdoor unit (7) are difficult to see from outside, the bay window (1) looks good from the outside, and the interior appearance and efsteria are improved. In addition, since rainwater, etc. does not directly hit the inlet (2) and outlet (3) of the outdoor unit (7), there is no need to take special measures against this, and the outdoor unit (7) is less likely to malfunction. ,
It's functional. Moreover, the outdoor unit (7) and the indoor unit (13)

In addition, when integrating the outdoor unit (7) and the indoor unit (13), if an indoor or outdoor joint method is adopted,
The outdoor unit (7) and the indoor unit (13) can be separated, allowing for various installations.

[Effect of the invention] As explained above, the bay window air conditioner of this invention has the following effects:
The simple configuration of placing the outdoor unit's inlet and outlet on the bottom of the bay window and integrating the outdoor and indoor units into the bay window improves the aesthetic appearance of the bay window from outside and reduces effsteria. In addition, rainwater, etc. does not directly hit the inlet and outlet, and there is no need to take special measures to prevent this.
It is highly functional as the outdoor unit is less likely to break down. Furthermore, the outdoor unit and the indoor unit do not protrude outside the room, making it possible to improve the interior design of the room and make effective use of the indoor space, and to facilitate installation and maintenance work.
