止するようになつているとともに、差込棒1の後
端に、図示しない案内管に緊密に嵌入するシール
部11と案内管の端縁に当接するストツパ12を
一体成形したゴム製のプラグ10及び丸鋼線を曲

出すのに伴い、案内管の内周面との摩擦により差
込棒1が引張力を受けた場合にも、差込棒1が伸
びて塑性変形することがないばかりでなく、心棒
となるパイプ2を有することによつて圧縮強度に
優れ、ゲージを差し込んだときに案内管内で座屈
するおそれが少なく、また、ゲージ部5が差込棒
1と一体に形成されているため、抜き差しを繰り
返しても差込棒1との接続部分となるゲージ部5
の基端部が摩耗するおそれがなくて、ゲージ部5

もに、差込棒が心棒となるパイプを有することに

部を差込棒と一体に形成したから、抜き差しを繰
り返しても差込棒との接続部分であるゲージ部の
基端部が摩耗するおそれがないため、経時後もゲ
ージ部ががたつくことがなく、油面を正確に測定
することができ、かつ、耐久性が向上し、さら
に、差込棒を中空としたからゲージ全体を軽量に
