本発明は、同軸ケーブル付同軸コネクタ及びその組立て
方法に関するものである.
(従来の技術)
従来の同軸ケーブル付同軸コネクタは、第7図に示すよ
うに、同軸コネクタ1の筒状のコネクタアース金具2内
にコネクタ絶縁体3が、該コネクタ絶縁体3の係止突起
3aをコネクタアース金具2の係止窓2aに係入させる
ことにより、係止状態で組込まれ、コネクタ絶縁体3の
中心にはコネクタ中心ピン4が抜け止めされて貫通支持
され、該コネクタ中心ピン4の基端には同軸ケーブル5
の中心導体6の先端が接続され、コネクタアース金具2
の基端には同軸ケーブル5の編組外部導体7の先端が接
続され、コネクタアース金具2の外周には筒状のコネク
タ絶縁カバー8が装着された横造になっていた.なお、
同軸ケーブル5は、絶縁シース9の先端外周に外部導体
7が折り返され、この折り返された外部導体7の先端か
らケーブル絶縁体10と中心導体6が順次露出された楕
造になっている.
このような同軸ケーブル付同軸コネクタは、次にように
して組立てていた.
(1)同軸ケーブル5の中心導体6の先端にコネクタ中
心ピン4の基端をカシメ付けする.(2)コネクタ絶縁
体3をコネクタアース金具2内に圧大して組込む.
{3)同軸ケーブル5を押してその先端のコイ・クタ中
心ピン4をコネクタ絶縁体3に圧入して組付ける.
(4)コネクタアース金具2の基端を同軸ケーブル5の
外部導体7にカシメ付けする.
(5)予め同軸ケーブル5に嵌合してずらしておいたコ
ネクタ絶縁カバー8を戻してコネクタアース金具2の外
周に嵌め付ける.
(発明が解決しようとする課題)
しかしながら、従来の同軸ケーブル付同軸コネクタでは
、コネクタアース金具2に予め組込まれているコネクタ
絶縁体3に対して、同軸ケーブル5の先端に収り付けら
れているコネクタ中心ピン4を圧大して組立てを行って
いたので、次のような問題点があった.
(イ)同軸ケーブル5を押すことにより、その先端のコ
ネクタ中心ピン4をコネクタ絶縁体3に組込むとき、同
軸ケーブルが曲ってしまって組込む作業を行いにくい.
(口)同軸ケーブル5を押すことにより、その先端のコ
ネクタ中心ピン4をコネク絶縁体3に組込むとき、その
押圧力がコネクタ絶縁体3が押されて隔止が外れ、前方
に押出されて飛び出してしまう.
(ハ)自動組立てが困龍である.
(二)コネクタ絶縁体3が孔をゆるくしてコネクタ中心
ピン6の圧入を容易にすると、コネクタ絶縁体3に対す
るコネクタ中心ピン6の固定状態が悪く、遊びが大きく
なり、コネクタの接続不良をまねき易くなる.
本発明は、このような従来の問題を解決し、同軸コネク
タの組立てを容易に行うことかできる同軸ケーブル付同
軸コネクタ及びその製遣方法を提供することを目的とす
る.
(発明が解決しようとする課題)
上述の如き従来の問題を解決し、所期の目的を達成する
ための本発明の特徴は、第一に筒状のコネクタアース金
具内にコネクタ絶縁体が係止状態で組込まれ、前記コネ
クタ絶縁体の中心にコネクタ中心ピンが抜け止めされて
貫通支持され、前記コネクタ中心ピンの基端には同軸ケ
ーブルの中心導体の先端が接続され、前記コネクタアー
ス金具の基端には前記同軸ケーブルの外部導体の先端が
接続されて、同軸コネクタに同軸ケーブルが接続されて
いる同軸ケーブル付同軸コネクタにおいて、前記コネク
タ中心ピンの基端には芯線バレルが設けられ、前記コネ
クタアース金具の前記芯線バレルの開口面に対向する側
の面にはその基端から該芯線バレルに対応する位置まで
ケーブル及び工具挿入スリットが設けられ、前記コネク
タアース金具の前記芯線バレルの閉鎖面に対向する側の
面には前記芯線バレルに対応して工具挿入窓が設けられ

芯線バレルに圧着接続され、前記同軸ケーブルの前記外
部導体の先端は前記シールドバレルに圧着接続されてい
ることにあり、第二に筒状のコネクタアース金具内にコ
ネクタ絶縁体が係止状態で組込まれ、前記コネクタ絶縁
体の中心にコネクタ中心ピンが抜け止めされて貫通支持
され、前記コネクタ中心ピンの基端には同軸ケーブルの
中心導体の先端が接続され、前記コネクタアース金具の
基端には前記同軸ケーブルの外部導体の先端が接続され
て、同軸コネクタに同軸ケーブルが接続されている同軸
ケーブル付同軸コネクタの組立方法において、前記同軸
コネクタとしては、前記コネクタ中心ピンの基端に芯線
バレルか設けられ、前記コネクタアース金具の前記芯線
バレルの開O面に対向する側の面にその基端から該芯線
バレルに対応する位置までケーブル挿入スリットが設け
られ、前記コネクタアース金具の前記芯線バレルの閉鎖

挿入窓が設けられ、前記コネクタアース金具の基端には
前記ケーブル及び工具挿入スリットに開ロ面を向けてシ
ールドバレルが設けられている構造のものを用い、前記
コネクタ中心ピンを前記コネクタ絶縁体に圧大して組付
け、該コネクタ中心ピンを組付けたコネクタ絶縁体を,
前記コネクタアース金具内に嵌め込んで係止させ、前記
同軸ケーブルの先端部を前記ケーブル及び工具挿入スリ
ットから前記コネクタアース金具内に挿入して該同軸ケ
ーブルの前記中心導体の先端を前記芯線バレルに圧着接
続し、該同軸ケーブルの前記外部導体の先端を前記シー
ルドバレルに圧着接続することにある.
(作用)
第一の特徴のように、コネクタアース金具に、その基端
から芯線バレルに対応する位置までケーブル及び工具挿
入スリットを設けておくと、先にコネクタ中心ピンをコ
ネクタ絶縁体に組込んだ後に、同軸ケーブルを該ケーブ
ル及び工具挿入スリットから挿入してコネクタ中心コン
タクトの芯線バレル及びコネクタアース金具のシールド
バレルに対する接続作業が行えるようになる.コネクタ
アース金具には、芯線バレルに対応してケーブル及び工
具挿入スリット及び工具挿入窓が設けられているので、
コネクタ中心ピンをコネクタ絶緑体に予め挿入しておい
ても、これらスリット及び窓を利用して同軸ケーブルの
中心導体の接続作業を容易に行える.
また、第二の特徴のように、予めコネクタ絶縁体にコネ
クタ中心ピンを圧大しておいて、該コネクタ絶縁体をコ
ネクタアース金具内に装着し、しかる後、コネクタ中心
ピンの芯線バレルに同軸ケーブルの中心導体を圧着する
と、コネクタ絶縁体をコネクタアース金具から押し出す
ような力を加えないで組立て作業か行える.
また、同軸ケーブルを持って強く押し込む作業がなくな
り、作業性か良くなり、自動組立てが可能になる.
(実施例)
以下、本発明の実施例を第1図乃至第6図を参照して詳
細に説明する.
なお、前述した第7図と対応する部分には、同一番号を
付けて示している.
図示のように、本実施例の同軸ケーブル付コネタクにお
いては、コネクタ中心ピン4の基端に芯線バレル11が
設けられている.該コネクタ中心ピン4は、コネクタ絶
縁体3の中心に抜け止められて貫通支持されている.芯
線バレル11を出させるように、コネクタ絶縁体3の基
端には溝12が径方向に横切って設けられている.コネ
クタ中心ピン4を支持したコネクタ絶縁体3は、コネク
タアース金具2に組込まれて係止されている.コネクタ
アース金具2の芯線バレル11の開口面l1aに対向す
る側の面には、その基端から芯線バレル11に対応する
位置までケーブル及び工具挿入スリット13が設けられ
ている.コネクタアース金具の芯線バレル11の閉鎖面
1lbに対向する側の面には、芯線バレルに対応して工
具挿入窓14が設けられている.
コネクタアース金具2の基端には、ケーブル及び工具挿
入スリット13に開口面15aを向けてシールドバレル
15が設けられている.次にこのような同軸ケーブル付
同軸コネクタの組立て方法について説明する.
コネクタ中心ピン4をコネクタ絶縁体3の中心に圧入し
係止させる.この状態で芯線バレル11は−コネクタ絶
縁体3の講12内に位置している.このようにコネクタ
中心ピン4を組付けたコネクタ絶縁体3をコネクタアー
ス金具2内に嵌め込んで係止させる.
次に、同軸ケーブル5の先端部をケーブル及び工具挿入
スリット13からコネクタアース金具2内に挿入し、同

(発明の効果)
以上説明したように本発明に係る同軸ケーブル付同軸コ
ネクタ及びその組立て方法によれば、下記のような効果
を得ることができる.
本発明の同軸ケーブル付同軸コネクタでは、コネクタア
ース金具にその基端から芯線バレルに対応する位置まで
ケーブル及び工具挿入スリットを設けているので、先に
コネクタ中心ピンをコネクタ絶縁体に組込んだ後に、同
軸ケーブルを該ケーブル及び工具挿入スリットから挿入
してコネクタ中心コンタクトの芯線バレル及びコネクタ
アース金具のシールドバレルに対する接続作業を容易に
行える.
また、コネタクアース金具には、芯線バレルに対応して
ケーブル及び工具挿入スリット及び工具挿入窓が設けら
れているので、コネクタ中心ピンをコネクタ絶縁体に予
め挿入しておいても、これらスリット及び窓を利用して
同軸ケーブルの中心導体の接続作業を容易に行うことが

の面に前記芯線バレルに対応して工具挿入窓が設けられ
、前記コネクタアース金具の基端に前記ケーブル及び工
具挿入スリットに開口面を向けてシールドバレルが設け
られている構造のものを用い、前記コネクタ中心ピンを
前記コネクタ絶縁体に圧入して組付け、該コネクタ中心
ピンを組付けたコネクタ絶縁体を、前記コネクタアース
金具内に嵌め込んで係止させ、前記同軸ケーブルの先端
部を前記ケーブル及び工具挿入スリットから前記コネク
タアース金具内に挿入して該同軸ケーブルの前記中心導
体の先端を前記芯線バレルに圧着接続し、該同軸ケーブ
ルの前記外部導体の先端を前記シールドバレルに圧着接
続することを特徴とする同軸ケーブル付同軸コネクタの
