The present invention relates to a lens holding device, and in particular to a lens holding device that is easy to attach a lens to a lens frame, elastically absorbs deformation of the lens due to changes in lens diameter, thickness, or other changes, and maintains the holding state of the lens in the lens frame. It is an object of the present invention to provide a lens holding device that can always hold a lens in the correct position relative to a lens frame while correcting downward misalignment, inclination, etc. Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 1, as a holding device for a lens frame, a lens fitting part 5 is provided on the inner periphery of a lens frame 1, and includes a stepped part 6 for abutting the lens 2. A threaded portion 4 is screwed onto the front inner periphery of the joint portion 5 to constitute a lens holding portion on the lens frame 1. Then, the outer circumferential part 2a of the lens 2 inserted from the opening side of the lens frame 1 is placed so that its back surface is connected to the stepped part.
After fitting while touching the sides, attach the lens frame 1 to the outer periphery.
Screw the holding ring 3 of the lens holding part onto the threaded part 4,
The presser ring 3 presses and fixes the back surface of the outer peripheral portion 2a of the lens 2 against the stepped portion 6. According to the above conventional lens holding device, the lens frame 1
There is a tolerance value for processing accuracy between the lens fitting part 5 in the lens holding part and the lens 2 itself, and when there is a play between the two that is equal to that tolerance value, A misalignment occurs. Moreover, if the lens 2 is a plastic lens, the above-mentioned tolerance must be set even larger due to dimensional changes due to temperature or variations in lens molding. Incidentally, the allowable values for a lens with a diameter of 20 mm are as shown in Table 1 below, and it is clear that the maximum misalignment in the case of a plastic lens is 0.05 mm.

[Table] Furthermore, in the conventional lens holding device described above, it is difficult to adjust the tightening force of the lens 2 by screwing the presser ring 6 onto the threaded part 4 of the lens frame 1 to a constant level, and it is also difficult to adjust the tightening force of the lens 2 to a constant value due to changes in the shape of the lens. It is not possible to absorb the accompanying deformation, and it is not possible to prevent the lens from becoming misaligned or tilted, and furthermore, the lens frame 1 of the lens 2 is
There is a drawback that it takes time and effort to install the device. Moreover, it can be used as a lens holding device.
Although the devices described in Publication No. 40254 or Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 55-57709 have been proposed, no measures have been taken to prevent lens misalignment or inclination, and no other consideration has been taken to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks. It is something that has not been done yet. In particular, when using a plastic lens, there is no structure for absorbing changes in outer diameter due to temperature and humidity, and the lens holding mechanism still suffers from problems in terms of accuracy due to the above-mentioned points. Therefore, the present invention was developed in view of the above-mentioned conventional lens holding device, and specifically includes a tapered surface provided on the held lens, a locking portion that restricts the held lens in the optical axis direction, The present invention is characterized by comprising an elastic support member including a pressing portion that presses the tapered surface of the lens to be held. Embodiments of the lens holding device according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIGS. 2a and 2b show the first embodiment, and 10 is a lens as a held lens held in a lens frame 11. The outer periphery 10a of this lens 10 has a tapered surface 12 inclined in one direction. be. Reference numeral 13 denotes an elastic piece (pressing part) as an elastic part protruding inward from the inner wall surface 11a of the lens frame 11.
A stopper 14 for restricting the lens 10 in the optical axis direction is provided on the protruding root end 13a of each elastic piece 13 to integrally form an elastic support member. Further, the protruding direction of each elastic piece 13 is configured to correspond to the inclination angle of the tapered surface 12 of the lens 10, and in the drawing,
The case is shown in which four elastic pieces 13 are arranged facing each other in the inner circumferential direction, but the number of elastic pieces 13 is not limited to integral molding, as will be explained for each example below. . Further, the outer diameter of the lens 10 and the inner diameter between the elastic pieces 13 are set so that the lens 10 can be elastically held by each elastic piece 13, and the distance between the stopper 14 of each elastic piece 13 is set so that the lens 10 can be elastically held by each elastic piece 13. The maximum diameter of the lens 10 is larger than the inner diameter of the lens 10. The lens 10 may be made of plastic or glass, and the lens frame 11 may be made of synthetic resin such as polycarbonate. Therefore, in order to hold the lens 10 in the lens frame 11 having the above structure, the lens 10 is inserted from the right side of the lens frame 11 in FIG. When the lens 10 is inserted into the stopper 14 , the maximum outer diameter portion of the lens 10 abuts against the stopper 14 and pushes the opposing elastic pieces 13 outwardly.
When the lens 10 gets over each elastic piece 13
When the return elasticity of each elastic piece 13 works, each elastic piece 13 comes into pressure contact with the tapered surface 12 of the lens 10, and the maximum outer diameter part of the lens 10 is stopped by the stopper 14, and the lens 10 becomes a mirror. It is fixed and held in a predetermined position within the frame 11 by each elastic piece 13. Next, referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, it will be explained how the lens 10 is always held in the correct position by each elastic piece 13. When attaching the lens 10, the lens 1
0 is inserted between the elastic pieces 13 in the lens frame 11, and the lens 10 is set in a misaligned position as shown in FIG.
Considering the moment around the fulcrum, the force that the lens 10 receives from the elastic piece 13 at point b is as indicated by arrow B. The direction B is perpendicular to the plane of the elastic piece 13. If the direction of this force is to the right of line segments a and b as shown in FIG. 3, the lens 10 will be corrected in the correct direction by this force. However, if the direction of this force is to the left of line segments a and b in FIG. 3, the lens 10 will be further tilted, but it can be said that it is not intentionally tilted that much during initial setting. . In addition, regarding misalignment in the axial direction, as shown in Fig. 4, if the position is misaligned in the axial direction, the elastic piece 1
3 exerts on the lens 10 as shown by arrows C and C'. Therefore, if this force is divided into an axial component and a radial component, it will be as shown by the arrows D, D', E, and E', and D,
D' acts as a force to elastically hold the lens 10, while E and E' act to move the lens 10 in the axial direction until it is stopped by the stopper 14. As is clear from the above description, the lens 10 is always kept in the initial position by the force of each elastic piece 13 to correct the above-mentioned inclination and the force to move the lens 10 in the axial direction and press it against the stopper. In the case of plastic lenses, the misalignment can be suppressed to about one-third of that of conventional lens holding devices. Now, in the following, instead of the first embodiment of the lens holding device of the present invention, FIGS.
A fourth example will be described. In the second embodiment shown in FIG. 5, a guide end 15 is attached to the elastic piece 13 in the device shown in the second figure by bending the tip 13b outward as a guide portion for engaging the lens 10.
The lens 10 can be attached to the elastic piece 13 from either the front or rear direction. The third embodiment shown in FIG. 6 is a modification of the structure of the stopper of the first embodiment, with an engagement protrusion 18 protruding from an engagement recess 17 of an elastic piece 16 and a tapered surface 12 of a lens 10.
This is a supporting member which is constructed by the following members and is held by engaging with each other. It should be noted that it is also possible to configure the engaging recess and the protrusion in opposite directions, and such a configuration is specifically shown in the fourth embodiment shown in FIG. In the figure, 19 is an engagement protrusion of the elastic piece 16;
is an engagement recess provided in the tapered surface 12 of the lens 10. The lens holding device of the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, and not only can the work of mounting the lens on the lens frame be simplified, but also the lens holding device of the present invention is held by the elasticity of the supporting member during mounting, which is different from the conventional lens holding device. There is no need to adjust the torque when tightening screws, and the pressure part, locking part,
Since the lens is elastically held by the taper of the lens, changes in the diameter and thickness of the lens caused by temperature, humidity, and other factors are absorbed by the elasticity of the pressing part. At the same time, it is possible to prevent misalignment and inclination, and furthermore, it is possible to downsize the lens holding device.
