データを記憶させる作業が必要であつた。またさ
らに、その電子秤のメモリーが飽和した場合には
さらに別の電子秤のメモリーに残りのデータを記
憶させて2台又は、それ以上の電子秤を一つの場
所に設置して、商品によつてそれらの電子秤を使
いわける必要があつた。

計算し、計量した重量とCPU2a,2bから出
力されるその商品の風袋重量とから、正味重量を

表示装置、7a,7bは計重演算装置5a,5b

ると電子秤Aは自機の記憶装置3aを検索してそ
の商品に関するデータがあるかどうかを調べる。
自機の記憶装置3a内に上記商品のデータがあれ
ばそのデータを計量演算部5a、ラベルプリンタ
ー7aに出力すればよいのであるが自機の記憶装
置3a内に上記商品のデータがないときには呼出
受信手段21aが作動して他機のデータすなわ
ち、この場合は電子秤Bの記憶装置3b内のデー
タを探しにいくわけである。その場合まず電子秤
Bに対して要求信号を送信すると電子秤Bの応答
送信手段22bが作動して応答信号を送り返え
す。もしこのとき例えば断線によつて電子秤Bか
らの応答信号が電子秤Aで受信されない場合は電
子秤Aのエラーランプ(図示せず)が点灯する。
そして電子秤Aが応答信号を受信した状態で電子
秤Bと電子秤Aとの間でのデータ伝送が可能とな
つたわけであるので、次に電子秤Aが電子秤Bに
対して商品コードを送信すると、電子秤Bの記憶
装置3b内のデータが検索されてその商品に該当
するデータを電子秤Aに送信し、電子秤Aの
CPU2aがそのデータを受信して、計量演算部
5a、ラベルプリンター7aに出力し、計量演算
部5aで価格等が算出されて、表示装置6aで表
示されると共に上記価格や商品名等がラベルプリ
ンター7aでラベルに印字される。しかしこのと
き電子秤Bの記憶装置3bの中に該当するデータ
がないときには電子秤Bから該当する商品のデー
タがない旨の信号が電子秤Aに対して送られて電
