Then, the space between the dogbashiri and the retaining wall is sealed with an elastic member,
The movement deviation due to the difference in vibration frequency between the lower structure and the upper structure can be absorbed by the elastic member, so
The above space will always remain shielded from the outside of the building.

In order to close the gap formed between the retaining wall 2 of the lower structure 4 and the outer wall 14 of the upper structure 5, the canubashiri 8 extends substantially horizontally from the outer peripheral surface of the outer wall 14 onto the retaining wall 2 and closes the gap between the retaining wall 2 of the lower structure 4 and the outer wall 14 of the upper structure 5. The upper part of the structure 4 is completely shielded. In order to make this even more complete, the elastic member 10 is provided.

Because of this, it is possible to cover the gap between the building and the outer circumferential surface while configuring the dogbashiri to serve as the building's entrance, exit, and balcony. Moreover, since temporary scaffolding can be erected along the outer wall surface of the building in a dog-like manner, clearance around the building does not have to be a particular problem when erecting the scaffolding. Additionally, if the equipment is supported by dog running, it will sway together with the building, so there will be no problem with connections between indoor and outdoor areas. Furthermore, since the gap between the back surface of the dogbashiri and the top of the retaining wall is closed with an elastic member, the space around the seismic isolation device is isolated from the outside without inhibiting the difference in the direction of motion between the lower structure and the upper structure. It is isolated,
There is no risk of rainwater adhering to the base of the seismic isolation device, accelerating the formation of rust, or creating a rat's nest.
