Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve reliability in point of security by enabling information representing whether or not the exchange of a housing is performed by the clerk of a security company to be acquired at a remote monitoring device when the loading, refilling, and collection of cash are performed. CONSTITUTION:When the loading, refiling, and collection, etc., of the cash are performed, extraction is detected by a detecting means 14 by extracting the housing from a cash processing machine 2 by the clerk of the security company, thereby, the number of times of exchange of an exchange number storage means 12 is updated. Accordingly, exchange time is written on an exchange time storage means 7 with a main control part 4, and also, exchange number of times information and exchange time information are sent to a monitoring device 3. When no loading of the housing within constant time after the extraction of the housing is detected with the detecting means 14 is detected, it is judged that exchange abnormality occurs by the main control part 4, and exchange abnormality information is informed the monitoring device 3. Thereby, the reliability in point of security can be improved.

In implementing such unmanned operations, the automatic transaction equipment at each store is connected online to a monitoring equipment installed at a remote center, etc., and the operational status of the equipment is checked, for example, whether the equipment is operating for transactions. A system has been put into practical use that remotely monitors whether the device is loaded with cash, whether it is being refilled, whether it is being refilled, whether an abnormality has occurred in the device, whether it is undergoing maintenance, etc. The automatic transaction device below allows transactions to be performed by the customer's operations as before.

In this case, in the actual work, the staff member of the security company, etc., first opens the outer door provided on the back of the device using a predetermined key, and then opens the operation panel for the staff member provided on the outer door. After operating the machine to put the machine into attendant mode, load, replenish, or collect cash by opening the inner door provided on the cash processing machine and replacing the cash storage compartment. By switching the automatic transaction device to the attendant mode as described above, the automatic transaction device sends a notification to the monitoring device that the storage exchange operation is in progress.

In order to achieve this object, the present invention provides a cash storage system that is connected to a remote monitoring device and that processes cash deposits and withdrawals associated with transactions performed by customer operations using a cash storage. In an automatic transaction device that is equipped with a processing machine and that loads, replenishes, and collects cash by replacing the storage, the automatic transaction device includes a detection means for detecting mounting and removal of the storage, and a detection means for detecting the removal of the storage. Exchange frequency storage means for updating the number of exchanges of the storage when detected; exchange time storage means for storing the time when the exchange frequency storage means was updated; and the exchange frequency in the exchange frequency storage means is updated. The system notifies the monitoring device of the number of exchanges and the corresponding exchange time information each time, and also monitors replacement abnormality information if attachment of the storage is not detected within a certain period of time after removal of the storage is detected. and control means for notifying the device.

Since the switches 14a to 14d are not turned on, the control unit 9 immediately sends information to the effect that an exchange abnormality has occurred to the automatic transaction bag via the interface 10 if the switches 14a to 14d are not turned on even after a certain period of time has elapsed. Notify W1 (S9

When the control unit 15 of the monitoring device 3 outputs a clock signal periodically (for example, every SMS) from the interval timer 17, it senses the automatic transaction device 1 via the interface 16 and causes the automatic transaction device to exchange the storage. It is determined whether or not the number of times information has been sent (S2c), and if such information has been sent, the information is sent to the display unit 18 and displayed to the center staff (S2c).

A detection means for detecting removal, a replacement number storage means for updating the number of times the storage has been replaced when the detection means detects removal of the storage, and a replacement for storing the time at which the replacement number storage means has been updated. Each time the number of exchanges in the time storage means and the number of exchanges storage means is updated, the number of exchange information and the exchange time information corresponding to the information are notified to the monitoring device, and the number of exchanges is kept constant from the time when removal of the storage is detected. The structure includes a control means for notifying the monitoring device of exchange abnormality information when attachment of the storage is not detected within a time.
