ように配置された一対のアイドル歯車と、 前記一対のアイドル歯車いずれか一方だけを該
当テープ巻取りリールの歯車ホイールに対して係
合位置に、その他方のアイドル歯車を該当テープ
巻取りリールの歯車ホイールに対して非係合位置
にシフトさせるように該一対のアイドル歯車の係
合を切り換えるアイドル歯車切換リンク機構と、 前記一対のアイドル歯車の係合位置および非係
合位置を交互に切り換えるべく前記アイドル歯車
切換リンク機構に周期的な作動を行わせるテープ
走行切換歯車機構と、 前記一対のアイドル歯車の係合位置および非係
合位置の交互の切換状態を維持すべく前記テープ
走行切換歯車機構を選択的にロツクさせるロツク
レバー機構とよりなり、 前記ロツクレバー機構はそれによる前記テープ
走行切換歯車機構のロツク状態が解除される度毎
に前記アイドル歯車切換リンク機構に半周期の作
動を行わせた後に再び該テープ走行切換歯車機構
をロツクさせるようになつており、 更に、前記ロツクレバー機構による前記テープ
走行切換歯車機構のロツク状態を解除させるべく
該ロツクレバー機構に組み込まれた作動レバー機
構よりなり、 前記作動レバー機構はテープ早送りレバーとテ
ープ巻戻しレバーとの同時押込み操作によつて始
動させられ、このとき前記一対のアイドル歯車が
共に前記一対のテープ巻取りリールの歯車ホイー
ルとの係合から外されて、該歯車ホイールが停止
状態に置かれるようになつており、 更に、テープの走行終端時に前記一対のテープ
巻取りリールの歯車ホイールの回転が停止状態に
なることを検出することによつてテープ一走行を
切り換えるテープ終端検出機構よりなり、 前記テープ終端検出機構は第1および第2のカ
ム面を持つカム歯車と、このカム歯車の第1およ
び第2のカム面とカム係合して第1、第2および
第3の回動位置を取り得るようになつた従動レバ
ーとを包含し、前記従動レバーは前記一対のテー
プ巻取りリールの歯車ホイールの回転駆動時に該
歯車ホイールから第1の回動位置に偏倚させられ
るようになつた回動偏倚力を受けると共に前記カ
ム歯車の第1のカム面とのカム係合によつて第1
の回動位置と第2の回動位置との間で揺動させら
れ、テープの走行終端時に前記一対のテープ巻取
りリールの歯車ホイールの回転が停止状態となる
と、前記従動レバーが前記カム歯車の第1のカム
面によつて第2の回動位置に偏倚された後に該カ
ム歯車の第2のカム面とカム係合して第3の回動
位置に偏倚させられ、このとき前記従動レバーが
前記ロツクレバー機構を作動させて前記テープ走
行切換歯車機構のロツク状態を解除させるように
なつているカセツトテープ再生装置用リバース機
構において、 前記作動レバー機構には前記テープ終端検出機
構の従動レバーに係合させられた弾性ばね要素が
設けられ、前記テープ早送りレバーと前記テープ
巻戻しレバーとの同時押込み操作によつて前記作
動レバー機構が始動されたとき、前記弾性ばね要
素が前記テープ終端検出機構の従動レバーを第1
の回動位置に偏倚させるように作用することを特
徴とするカセツトテープ再生装置用リバース機構
