Description
本発明は、フアクシミリにおいて、原稿から得
られる書画情報の一部を日付,発信元,頁数等を
表わす発信元画情報に置換して送信側から受信側
に伝送し、受信側で記録する発信元画情報記録方
式の改良に関する。
送信側から書画情報に原稿には記載されていな
い日付,発信元,頁数等の発信元画情報を置換付
加して伝送し、受信側では記録する方式は、同じ
出願人により既に提案されている。
ところで、この従来方式のものは、発信元画情
報が受信側の紙幅に関係なく固定の場所に記録さ
れるため、送信側と受信側の紙幅が同じ場合には
不都合は生じないが、送信側と受信側の紙幅が異
なる場合は、発信元画情報が片側に片寄りすぎた
り、特に受信側の紙幅が送信側の紙幅より狭い場
合には発信元画情の一部分が欠如したりするとい
う点で問題があつた。
本発明は、従来のものにおけるこれらの欠点を
除去したもので、送信側と受信側の紙幅が異なる
場合でも、発信元画情報が片寄りすぎたり、欠如
したりすることがない常に受信紙に対応して最適
位置に発信元画情報を記録することのできる発信
元画情報記録方式を提供することを目的とする。
この目的を達成するため、本発明は、受信側の
紙幅に応じて発信元画情報の主走査方向置換位置
を自動的に変更するようにしたことを特徴とす
る。
以下、本発明を図の実施例を参照して説明す
る。
通常、フアクシミリにおいては、書画情報を送
信する前に受信側の有する機能、例えば、紙幅,
線密度,伝送速度等が送信側に報告される。これ
に応じて送信側では、送信側で有する機能との比
較を行い、合致する都合の良い機能を選択するこ
とにより、受信側の機能指定が行われる。
そこで、いま問題とする発信元画情報の記録の
場合に、指定された送信側および受信側紙幅に応
じて、下記第1表に示すような発信元画情報紙幅
を想定し、その紙幅内に発信元画情報が納まるよ
うに発信元画情報の原稿書画情報に対する置換付
加位置を調節すれば、受信紙上の都合の良い場所
にその発信元画情報が記録されることになる。
尚、下記の第1表は送信側および受信側の紙サイ
ズがA4版,B4版のいずれかである場合を例示し
たものである。表のA,BはそれぞれA4,B4版
の紙幅を示す。

次に、第3図の動作を説明する。
CPU1はROM2に記憶されているプログラム
に従つて、第4図のフローチヤートに示すよう
に、ROM2に記憶されている文字情報から発信
元画情報に必要な文字情報を読み出し、RAM4
に記憶していく。
いま、このRAM4を第5図a,bに示すよう
に表わし、横方向アドレスをフアクシミリにおけ
る主走査方向各ドツト位置、縦方向アドレスをフ
アクシミリにおける副走査方向各ドツト位置に対
応させ、発信元画情報1文字が5×7ドツトの画
素から構成されるものと仮定し、この第2RAM
4内にCPU1からアドレスバスAB、マルチプレ
クサ7を介して横方向アドレス指定を行いデータ
バスDBを介して第1図に示すように想定した発
信元画情報紙幅に対応して日付,発信元,頁を順
次書き込んで行く。このとき、第2RAM4の縦
方向最終()アドレスおよび横方向アドレスに
より規定される場所には、日付,発信元,頁が記
憶されているか否かを示す有効信号も同時に書き
込んでいく。
このようにして、第2RAM4に書き込まれた
データを原稿の読取走査に同期して読み出し、有
効信号「0」の間はスキヤナから得られる書画情
報を、また、有効信号「1」の間は第2RAM4
から得られる発信元画情報を交互に切り換えて受
信側に伝送すれば、受信側では発信元画情報が欠
落することなく記録される。
ところで、RAM4の各アドレスをそのままフ
アクシミリにおける走査ドツト位置に1対1に対
応させると、RAM4の容量が大きくなるので、
本実施例では、第2RAM4には文字サイズを1/2
に縮した発信元画情報を記憶している。従つて、
第2RAM4のメモリ容量は1024×8ビツト容量
で構成する一方、コラムマルチカウンタ9、ロウ
マルチカウンタをそれぞれ1/2パルス出力カウン
タとし、発信元画情報の読み出し動作は、コラム
カウンタ5によつて順次横方向アドレスを指定
し、第1マルチプレクサ7を介して主走査を行
い、ロウカウンタ6によつて第2マルチプレクサ
8を介して副走査を行う。これにより、第
2RAM4に記憶された文字サイズを2倍にして
正常な発信元画情報を取り出すようにしている。
また、本実施例では、第2RAM4に予め、第
1図に示す状態に発信元画情報を記憶させてお
き、原稿の走査と同期して読み出すことにより、
原稿走査を高速にしても不都合なく発信元画情報
を取り出すことができるようにしている。
尚、上記実施例は送信側で発信元画情報の位置
を変更する場合について説明したが、この操作を
受信側で行つても、受信紙の最適位置に発信元画
情報を記録することができる。
以上のように、本発明によれば、送信側と受信
側の紙サイズが異なる場合でも発信元画情報が片
寄つて記録されたり欠落することなく常に最適位
