とによりニードル23を出没させる編機が知られている
。 上記ニードル23は、キャリッジ上のカム25に当接す
る作用位置に上昇させておくことにより編成が行なわれ
るのであるから、編成に関係のないm−ドル23は不作
用位置に下げておき、編成に用いるニードル23は作用
位置にあって、不作用位置には落ちないようにしなけれ
ばならない。 そのために、従来は、ニードルベッド基板26の端部を
挟持する形で、倒U字形をなした補助二ドル27を、そ
の−辺を針1122に挿入し、他辺を基板26の裏面に
当接させてニードルベッド基板26に摺動自在に取り付
けていた。そして、ニードル23を作用位置に位置させ
るときは補助ニードル27を押し込み、ニードルベッド
