Claims (1)
リングコラムを挿通され、ステアリングホイール
の操作に基づいて、前記ステアリングコラムの内
側で回転するステアリングシヤフトと、前記ステ
アリングコラムの外周面に設けられたイグニシヨ
ンスイツチのキーを抜き取り可能とする事に伴な
つて、前記ステアリングコラムの内側に弾性的に
突出するロツクピンと、前記ステアリングシヤフ
トに固定された部分に形成された、前記ロツクピ
ンの内端部が係合自在な係合孔とから成るステア
リングロツク装置に於いて、金属板をプレス成形
する事で略円筒状に形成され、一部に前記ロツク
ピンの内端部が係合自在な係合孔を穿設したロツ
クブラケツトを、ステアリングシヤフトの中間部
外周面に溶接固定した事を特徴とするステアリン
グロツク装置。 (2) ロツクブラケツトが、前記ステアリングシ
ヤフトの外径と一致する内径を有する1対の小径
円弧部と、前記ステアリングシヤフトの外径より
も大きな内径を有する大径円弧部と、この大径円
弧部の両端と上記1対の小径円弧部の一端とを連
続させる傾斜部とから成り、小径円弧部の他端同
士を互いに突き合わせる事で略円筒状に形成され
、前記大径円弧部に前記ロツクピンの内端部が係
合自在な係合孔が穿設されている、請求項1に記
載のステアリングロツク装置。 (3) ロツクブラケツトを構成する大径円弧部の
軸方向に亙る幅寸法が、小径円弧部の軸方向に亙
る幅寸法よりも大きい、請求項2に記載のステア
リングロツク装置。 (4) 小径円弧部の端縁が、ステアリングシヤフ
トの外周面に溶接されている、請求項2又は請求
