素子の触媒付着面に触媒を付着したのちの状態を
示す説明図、第3図は第1図に示した触媒の過渡
特性測定装置を用いて触媒の過渡特性を測定する
一例を示す説明図、第4図a,bおよび第5図a
,bは空気過剰L側から燃料過剰R側へと雰囲気
が変化し(各図のaの場合)また燃料過剰R側か
ら空気過剰L側へと雰囲気が変化した(各図のb
の場合)ときのそれぞれ出力変化および出力の時
間変化を測定した結果を示すグラフ、第6図は従
来の自動車用触媒の特性測定装置を例示する説明
図である。

Claims (1)
1電極を付着すると共に他方の表面に第2電極を
付着しかつ前記第2電極の表面に耐熱性酸化物を
主成分とする保護層を形成して前記保護層の表面
を触媒付着面に形成した酸素センサ素子と、前記
酸素センサ素子の第2電極側の雰囲気が変化した
ときの前記酸素センサ素子の出力変化により前記
触媒付着面に付着した触媒の過渡的な特性を測定
する測定手段とを備えたことを特徴とする触媒の
