Two circulation fans and a cooling fan are used to
It has two built-in fans. Therefore, when trying to drive these two fans with one motor, it is necessary to use multi-stage pulleys or drive the two fans with both the front and rear shafts of the motor.
The drive path became complicated, and the structure had to be large in terms of space.

いた。 The highly humid air that absorbs the moisture from the clothes in the clothes storage 1 is sent to the heat exchanger 3 by the circulation fan 4, and is cooled with outside air by the cooling fan 5.
After the water is condensed and drained, it is heated again by the heater 2 and circulated to the clothes storage 1. A typical dehumidifying type dryer repeats this air circulation cycle to convert moisture contained in clothes into condensed water in the heat exchanger 3, and drains this water to the outside of the machine to dry the clothes. This is the drying method. Here, conventionally, the circulation fan 4 is usually provided at the rear of the clothes storage 1, and therefore the depth of the dryer body is
The depth is the same as the depth of the clothing storage 1 plus the thickness of the circulation fan 4, making it quite deep.

The drive path for the dryer is extremely simple, and the fan unit, in which these two fans are fixed to a single rotating shaft, is installed in the space between the side of the clothes storage and the outer frame of the dryer. This eliminates the need to provide a space for a fan in the depth direction of the dryer, and constitutes a thin and compact dehumidifying clothes dryer.

行なわれる。 The operation in the above configuration will be explained. When the dryer is powered on and starts operating, the motor 7 operates, the clothes storage 6 rotates, and at the same time the circulation fan 9 and the cooling fan 10 rotate. As the circulation fan 9 rotates, the air heated by the heater 18 evaporates the moisture in the clothes in the clothes storage 6.
The air becomes high temperature and high humidity and is sent to the heat exchanger 17 through the circulating air cylinder 16 and the circulating fan case 13. This circulating air is cooled in the heat exchanger 17 by cooling air absorbed from outside the machine by the cooling fan 10, condenses water, and is drained from the drain port 19. The air after condensing the water is heated again by the heater 18 and sent to the clothes storage 6. Clothes are dried by repeating this cycle.

In addition, the depth of the dryer body can be made thinner than before.

This can dramatically improve the usability of the dryer. Furthermore, by arranging two fans for circulation and cooling on the same axis, it is easier to drive these two fans, instead of the complicated conventional method of driving two fans separately with one motor. This eliminates the need for additional structures, making it extremely useful in manufacturing. As described above, the present invention has great effects in terms of making the main body of a dehumidifying clothes dryer more compact and simplifying the fan drive structure.
