るためのレンズ駆動機構と、 前記モータの回転を前記レンズ駆動機構の伝達
する伝達位置と前記モータの回転の前記レンズ駆
動機構への伝達を阻止する阻止位置とに切換可能
なクラツチ機構と、 前記自動焦点調節モードを選択するための自動
焦点調節位置および前記手動焦点調節モードを選
択する手動焦点調節位置に操作可能とされたモー
ド設定操作部材と、 前記合焦光学系の光軸と略平行な面内に延在し
、前記モード設定操作部材の前記自動焦点調節位
置への操作に連動して、前記クラツチ機構を前記
伝達位置に向けて駆動すべく第1の方向に移動し
、前記モード設定操作部材の前記手動焦点調節位
置への操作に連動して、前記クラツチ機構を前記
阻止位置に向けて駆動すべく第2の方向に移動す
る駆動板と、 前記モード設定操作部材および前記駆動板のい
ずれか一方に前記駆動板と略平行な面内に延在し
て設けられるた付勢部材と、 前記モード設定操作部材および前記駆動板の他
方に形成され前記付勢部材と係合可能な係合部と
を具備し、 前記駆動板が前記第1の方向に移動するが前記
クラツチ機構が前記伝達位置に達しないときには
、前記付勢部材が前記係合部を介して前記駆動板
を前記クラツチ機構に対して前記第1の方向に付
勢し続け、前記駆動板が前記第2の方向に移動す
るが前記クラツチ機構が前記阻止位置に達しない
ときには、前記付勢部材が前記係合部を介して前
記駆動板を前記クラツチ機構に対して前記第2の
方向に付勢し続け、前記クラツチ機構が前記伝達
位置および阻止位置のいずれか一方に達したとき
には、前記付勢部材が前記係合部を介して前記駆
動板を前記クラツチ機構に対して付勢することを

If not, the biasing member continues to bias the drive plate against the clutch mechanism in the second direction via the engaging portion, and the clutch mechanism moves to either the transmission position or the blocking position. A lens barrel characterized in that when one end is reached, the biasing member releases biasing of the drive plate against the clutch mechanism via the engaging portion.
