[Detailed Description of the Invention] (Industrial Application Field) This invention is an improvement of a printing processing machine that prints on printing paper that becomes the cover of postcards, books, etc. that are bound into books, etc. in the printing paper processing process. Regarding. (Prior Art) Recently, there has been an increasing demand for printing the customer's name, postal code, address, and telephone number on printing paper that serves as the cover of catalogs, magazines, and pamphlets, and on postcards that are bound into books. Additionally, there is an increasing demand for printing information about end customers on printing paper used for direct mail, messages, etc. In order to meet this demand, it has been proposed to install an inkjet device inline with a printing processing machine that stitches printed sheets of paper to print on the printing paper. (Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, this conventional printing machine equipped with an inkjet device is unable to print with good accuracy at predetermined positions on printing paper, and in particular, it is difficult to print in the squares of postcards for questionnaires. When printing inside a table, there was a problem that if the printing accuracy was low, the printing position would shift. In addition, since it is not possible to automatically check whether or not printing has been performed with good accuracy at the specified position on the printing paper, there may be cases where there is no printing, duplicate printing, etc. due to some kind of trouble during the stitching process. Even if a mistake or missing page occurs, after printing on the printing paper, it will be necessary to manually check each time to confirm whether the desired printing is in the specified position on the printing paper, which requires a large amount of inspection. Another problem was that it required a lot of effort. Furthermore, when printing the addressee, name, address, and membership number on the cover and also printing the addressee, name, address, and membership number on the questionnaire postcard, the two must match, but this process also takes time to check. There is a point. This invention was made in view of the problems of the prior art described above, and its purpose is to be able to perform desired printing at a predetermined position on printing paper during the printing paper processing process. Another object of the present invention is to provide a printing processing machine that can reduce inspection labor. (Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above object, the printing machine according to claim 1 of the present invention includes a feeder that conveys printing paper on which a pattern for setting a printing start position is printed; It has a pattern reading device for reading the pattern for setting the printing start position, and a printing device for printing on the printing paper, and the pattern reading device and the printing device are arranged to set a pattern at a predetermined position on the printing paper. The printing apparatus is characterized in that the printing apparatus is connected to a control means for controlling the printing apparatus so that printing can be performed. In order to achieve the above object, the printing processing machine according to claim 2 of the present invention includes: a feeder that conveys printing paper on which a pattern for setting a print start position is printed; First step to read
a storage device that stores print data for printing on the printing paper; a printing device that prints on the printing paper and forms a pattern representing the printed content; a control means for controlling the printing device so as to form a print and a pattern at a predetermined position on the printing paper based on the print data stored in the storage device using the obtained signal; A second reading device reads a pattern representing the content, and the data obtained by the second reading device is compared with the print data stored in the storage device to determine whether predetermined printing is done on the printing paper. It is characterized by comprising: a determination means for determining whether or not the present invention is true; (Function) According to the printing machine according to the present invention, when the printing paper on which the printing start position setting pattern is printed crosses the pattern reading device, the printing paper is read by the pattern reading device. The control means controls the printing device based on the reading of the printing start position setting pattern, and printing is performed at a predetermined position on the printing paper. (Example) Hereinafter, an example of a printing processing machine according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In FIG. 1, 1 is a printing paper, 2 is a feeder for conveying this printing paper 1, 3 is a rotary encoder for detecting the conveyance speed of the printing paper 1, and 4 is a printing paper 1 for every predetermined number of sheets. A binding unit for binding, 5 a cutting unit for cutting the bound printing paper 1, 6 a stacker, and the feeder 2, binding unit 4, cutting unit 5, and stacker 6 are known structures. The rotary encoder 3 is connected to a computer 7, and the computer 7 detects the transport speed of the printing paper 1 based on the detection pulses of the rotary encoder 3. A font memory 8 and a storage device 9 such as a magnetic tape device or a floppy disk device are connected to the computer 7. The font memory 8 stores the shapes of characters, and the storage device 9 stores the print data to be printed and the processing results of the computer 7. Between the processes of the feeder 2 and the binding section 4, an optical reader 10 for pattern reading and an inkjet device as a printing device are installed. Optical readers 12 for reading barcodes are provided in this order. printing paper 1
Pattern 13 is pre-printed on items that require printing. This pattern 13 is used as a pattern for setting the print start position. In addition to pattern 13, OCR characters or the like can also be used as the print start position setting pattern. Here, as shown in FIG. 3, on the printing paper 1, the pattern 13 is printed on the edge C on the left side of the top a and the edge C on the left side of the base b to ensure the accuracy of printing position in the vertical and horizontal directions. It is designed to do so. However, if it is sufficient to ensure printing accuracy in either the vertical or horizontal direction, print only on either the left horizontal edge C of the top a or the left horizontal edge C of the ground b. All you have to do is Also, even if you do not print a pattern for setting the print start position, if there are ruled lines,
You can use the ruled lines, or you can also use Shishirodo. In addition, Figure 3 shows the printing paper at the stage of drafting, and in Figure 3, d is the throat, e is the horizontal finished dimension, f is the vertical finished dimension, g is the column, h is the non-pull,
i indicates the base line, j indicates the center line, k indicates the registration mark, and m indicates the margin. Computer 7 is rotary encoder 3
When a detection pulse is input from , the conveyance speed of the printed material 1 is calculated. On the other hand, when the printed matter 1 passes through the optical reading device 10 for reading the pattern, the optical reading device 10 for reading the pattern reads the pattern 13.
Read. The computer 7 sets a start point based on the reading by the optical pattern reading device 10 and the conveyance speed, and starts printing by the inkjet device 11 in consideration of the distance in the conveyance direction from this start point to the inkjet device 11. Set the timing. Then, the computer 7 sends and receives information to and from the font memory 8 based on the print data stored in the storage device 9, and controls the inkjet device W111 so that desired printing is performed at a predetermined position on the printing paper 1. Control. At this time, a pattern representing the content of the print, for example, a parcode l4 as shown in FIG. 2, is formed simultaneously with the print.

The optical reader l2 for reading barcodes reads the barcode 14 when the printed matter 1 passes by.
The computer 7 compares the data read by the optical reading device 1jl2 for reading the parcode with the print data stored in the storage device 9, and determines whether or not the desired print is made at a predetermined position on the printing paper. Check and verify. In this embodiment, the printing machine having the above-mentioned configuration is installed in front of the binding section, but it goes without saying that it may be installed after the binding section or in the delivery section of the printing machine. (Effects of the Invention) Since the printing processing machine according to the present invention is configured as described above, it is possible to precisely position the printing paper at a desired position using a printing device such as an inkjet device in the printing paper processing process. It has the effect of being able to print well and efficiently inspecting unprinted and duplicated prints without relying on human hands.
