くで水を導入して排気ガスとミキシングさせ、そ
の水を消音器に至るまでの間に排気吐出圧力と内
管に設けた水切りとの作用により内管に設けた小
開口を通じて内外管間の空間に導いて、消音器に
至るときは外管を主水導管、内管を主排気導管と
して他の消音要素との連結を可能とした内燃機関
の排気系である。

せ、その途中に吸音材10・連通小穴12からな
る吸音器11を内管3aの周囲に設け、また内管
3aを第2膨張室13に小穴14で開通させ、第
1・2室7,13間の仕切板に結合管15を設け
た構成である。

他の消音要素に前記混合した水を考慮することな
く組合わせ結合させることができる。
