と同期移動する移動手摺である。なお、主枠1は乗客コ
ンベア全体を支えるM構造物であり、移動手摺4は無端
状に構成され、第3図に示すように内周側開口部4aを
有するほぼC字形の横断面に形成されている。
第3図は第2図のI−I,lに沿う拡大断面図である。
第3図において、1&は主枠1の上梁、1bは上梁1a
と固定された縦柱であり、縦柱1bにはブラケッ1・6
が固定され、ブラケッ1・6には手摺ガイド用ブラケッ
1・7が縦柱1bと平行に固定され、手摺ガイド用ブラ
ケッ1− 7にはボル1・8a1ナット8bなどにより
帰路側手摺ガイド9が固定されている。帰路側手摺ガイ
ド9は主枠1内にこれの長手方向に沿って配置され、移
動手摺4の帰路側が案内支持されるように嵌合されてい
る。
なお、上記ブラケッ!・6及び移動手摺用ブラケット7
は主枠1長手方向に複数個所に設けられている。
この乗客コンベアの移動手摺4は、帰路側では内周側開
口部4aが上向きとなって手摺ガイド9に嵌まって移動
するので、水や油などが移動手摺4内に入り込みやすく
、とくに屋外に設置した乗客コンベアでは雨水が入りや

止できて、移動手摺への駆動力の伝達を確実にでき、ま
た移動手摺を保護できる乗客コンベアの移動手摺防水装
置を得ることを目的とするものである。

を大きくし、これに見合うように手摺ガイド用ブラケッ
ト7の高さ寸法を小さくしてある。また、防水板10つ
きの手摺ガイド9はアルミニウムなどの押出成形品で構
成してある。なお、この実施例の上述した以外の構成は
