【発明の詳細な説明】

【産業上の利用分野】
本発明は、全体として、自己支持型の地面の敷物、特に
、海岸等に敷いて地面から保護するためのビーチブラン
ケットに関する。風及び人等の通行によりビーチプラン
乞ットが望ましくない程動くことがある。かかるブラン
ケットに支持手段を提供すれば、該ブランケットを便宜
に適所に保持し、該ブランケットを動かしかつ振り動か
してきれいにすることが出来る。 ［０００２］
【従来の技術及びその課題】
従来技術の支持構造体の典型的なものは、水を入れたプ
ラスチック管が外周の［００１１］ 肉厚１．６ｍｍ　（１／１６インチ）及び幅６．４ｍｍ
（１／４インチ）のばね鋼は、好適な実施例において、
挙動を十分に釣り合わせ得ることが確認されている。か
かるフープは容易に圧縮されて直径約２０．３ｃｍ（８
インチ）となり、図５に示すように僅か２０．３ｃｍ（
８インチ）乃至３０．５ｃｍ（１２インチ）望ましくは
２５．４ｃｍ（１０インチ）のスリット３４を介して容
易に取り外すことが出来る。かかるフープは又、ブラン
ケットを完全な伸長状態に保持し、適正な重量を提供す
る。以下に説明する折り畳み特性は同様に好適なもので
ある。例えば９．５ｍｍ（３／８インチ）という大きい
幅のものも使用されているがこれは重量及び形状の安定
性は増すが、スリット３４から取り出すことがより困難
となる。３．２ｍｍ（１７８インチ）といったより狭小
な幅寸法のものは洗濯するためにスリット３４を介して
取り出すのに便宜であるが、かかる寸法ではブランケッ
トの形状を維持することが容易でなくなる。 ［００１２］ させかつ収縮させるための弁６４を備えている。 ［００１５］ 当業者には、上述に加えて付加的な変形例が明らかであ
ろうし、従って、本発明の範囲は特許請求の範囲の記載
によってのみ限定されるべきものである。

Claims (11)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】折り畳み可能な内部で支持されたビーチブ
    ランケットにして、その周端縁のほぼ全域に沿って相互
    に接続された一対の同様の形状の膜と、前記周端縁の一
    部に沿って設けられた小さいスリットと、前記周端縁の
    内側長さと略等しい長さを有する単一の反発可能なフー
    プであって、該フープの一部が圧縮され、該フープが前
    記スリットを通るのに十分小さい径となり得るようにす
    る弾性特性を有する前記フープとを備えるビーチブラン
    ケット。
  2. 【請求項２】請求項１のビーチブランケットにして、前
    記フープが、前記ブランケットを一方向に折り畳むこと
    により、前記フープが前記方向に対して垂直にそれ自体
    が更に折り畳まれるようにする力にて前記周端縁に対し
    て外方に広がるのに十分な強度を有するばね材料からな
    ることを特徴とするブランケット。
  3. 【請求項３】請求項１のビーチブランケットにして、前
    記フープがばね鋼材料から形成されることを特徴とする
    ブランケット。
  4. 【請求項４】請求項３のビーチブランケットにして、前
    記ばね鋼のフープが約６．４ｍｍ（１／４インチ）の幅
    及び約１．６ｍｍ（１／１６インチ）の肉厚を有するこ
    とを特徴とするブランケット。
  5. 【請求項５】請求項２のビーチブランケットにして、前
    記フープがばね鋼材料から形成されることを特徴とする
    ブランケット。
  6. 【請求項６】請求項５のビーチブランケットにして、前
    記フープが３．２ｍｍ（１／８インチ）乃至９．５ｍｍ
    （３／８インチ）の範囲の幅及び１．６ｍｍ（１／１６
    インチ）の肉厚を有することを特徴とするブランケット
    。
  7. 【請求項７】請求項１のビーチブランケットにして、前
    記スリットの両側部を相互に接続し得るようにした閉塞
    手段を備えることを特徴とするブランケット。
  8. 【請求項８】請求項７のビーチブランケットにして、前
    記閉塞手段が、前記スリットの両端縁に固定されたベル
    クロ型式のループ及びフック材料を備えることを特徴と
    するブランケット。
  9. 【請求項９】請求項７のビーチブランケットにして、前
    記閉塞手段により前記スリット内に固着され得るように
    した取り付け手段を有するピロウ手段を備えることを特
    徴とするブランケット。
  10. 【請求項１０】請求項８のビーチブランケットにして、
    前記ピロウ手段が前記スリットを閉塞すると共に、前記
    スリット内に固着され得るようにしたベルクロ型式の取
    り付け手段を有することを特徴とするブランケット。
  11. 【請求項１１】層間に支持フープを有する二層のビーチ
    ブランケットを折り畳む方法にして、 前記ブランケットの中央部分をユーザの胸部に当てて支
    持する段階と、中央部分を胸部の支持によりユーザ方向
    に動かないよう拘束しつつブランケットの左右端部を最
    初に前方へ折り畳み、次に、ブランケットの中央部分を
    越えて内方に折り畳む段階と、 部分的に折り畳んだブランケットを前方に動かし、ブラ
    ンケットの上部及び底部がそれ自体のばね張力により共
    に垂直に動き、折り畳んだ形態となるようにする段階と
    からなる方法。
