BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, as a waterproofing device for a parapet with a flat roof, for example, as shown in FIG.
is attached to the inner vertical surface and the upper surface of the parapet 12, and the horizontal portion 14 of a presser metal fitting 14 having a substantially inverted L-shaped cross section is placed on the upper surface of the end portion 13a of this waterproof sheet 13, and is fixed with a peg 15. Furthermore, a strip-shaped protective sheet 16 covering the head of the peg 15 and extending from the upper surface of the horizontal part 14a of the presser metal fitting 14 to the upper surface of the waterproof sheet 13 was placed and joined (JP-A-59-10661). However, with such a conventional parapet waterproofing device, installation is relatively troublesome, and dirt such as dust adhering to the surface of the waterproofing layer on the parapet 12 is washed away by rainwater, causing the hanging portion 14b of the joint piece 14 to be damaged.
As a result, the outer surface of the parapet 12 and the outer surface of the side wall of the building that follows it becomes dirty and has black streaks, making the appearance very unsightly.

Purpose of the invention The purpose of this invention is to solve the above problems and effectively prevent dirt such as dust attached to the surface of the waterproof layer on the parapet from flowing down along the outer surface of the parapet due to rainwater. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the outside surface of the parapet and the outside surface of the side wall of the building from getting dirty, and the appearance of the building can be maintained beautifully for a long period of time. Moreover, waterproofing can be done easily and inexpensively, and the outside surface of the parapet can be prevented from getting dirty. The object of the present invention is to provide a parapet waterproofing device for a flat roof that can reliably achieve waterproofing.

Structure of the invention In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, this invention has a connecting piece having a generally inverted L-shaped cross section, which has a horizontal part and a hanging part at the upper edge of a parapet of a flat roof, and which is connected to a parapet by its horizontal part. A joint piece that is attached to cover at least the outer edge of the upper surface and the upper edge of the outer surface of the parapet by a hanging part, and the end of a waterproof sheet stretched over the upper surface of the flat roof is attached to the parapet. The covering plate is joined to the upper surface of the horizontal part of the joining piece, and the covering plate is joined to the outer surface of the hanging part of the joining piece with its upper edge protruding above the horizontal part of the joining piece, and the upper edge of this covering plate is fixed. It is considered to be a water club. The gist is parapet waterproofing equipment for flat roofs.

In FIG. 1, a joint piece 4 is attached to the upper edge of a parapet 2 of a concrete flat roof 1 with a fixing fitting 5. The joint piece 4 is the horizontal part 4a
and a hanging part 4b having a folded part 4c at the lower edge, the parapet has a substantially inverted L-shape in cross section, and its horizontal part 4a covers the outer edge of the upper surface of the parapet 2 from the center part, and the hanging part 4b covers the upper edge of the outer surface of the parapet 2.

On the other hand, a required number of joining pieces 6 are fixed to required locations such as corners of the upper surface 1a of the flat roof 1 using fixing fittings 5, a waterproof sheet 3 is placed over the upper surface 1a of the flat roof 1, and required portions of the waterproof sheet 3 are joined. The waterproof sheet 3 is bonded to the surface of the piece 6 and covers the upper surface 1 of the flat roof 1.
It is stretched over a.

Here, as the waterproof sheet 3, a sheet made of thermoplastic synthetic resin such as soft polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, or polypropylene, a non-vulcanized rubber sheet, a rubber asphalt sheet, etc. is used, but especially in terms of adhesiveness, Preferably, flexible polyvinyl chloride sheets are used. The thickness of the tarpaulin sheet is usually about 1.0 to 2.0 mm. The joining piece 6 may be made of the same material as the joining piece 4 described above. Further, at the corner portions of the flat roof 1, for example, a joint piece 6 having an L-shaped cross section is used, and at the other intermediate portions, a circular or square plate-like joint piece (not shown) is used.

As the adhesive for bonding the waterproof sheet 3 and the joining pieces 4 and 6, and the waterproof sheets 3 to each other, solvent-based adhesives, epoxy-based adhesives, urethane-based adhesives, rubber-based adhesives, and the like may be used. In particular, when the waterproof sheet 3 and the joint pieces 4 and 6 are each made of vinyl chloride resin, using tetrahydrofuran alone or a solvent-based adhesive prepared by dissolving a small amount of vinyl chloride resin in tetrahydrofuran provides excellent durability. This is preferred because it produces an adhesive effect.

In this invention, the cover plate 7 is joined to the outer surface of the hanging part 4b of the joint piece 4 with its upper edge 7a projecting upward from the horizontal part 4a of the joint piece 4,
The upper edge 7a of this covering plate 7 serves as a water stop portion. Therefore, rainwater can be prevented from flowing outward from the surface of the waterproof layer on the parapet 2, and dirt such as dust attached to the surface of the waterproof layer on the parapet 2 will flow down along the outer surface of the parapet 2 along with the rainwater. It is possible to effectively prevent this.

Here, the covering plate 7 is made of a synthetic resin sheet such as a soft polyvinyl chloride sheet, or a synthetic resin plate, a metal plate, a synthetic resin-coated metal plate, etc., and the width of the hanging portion 4b of the joint piece 4 is Use a strip with wider width. Note that since the width of the covering plate 7 can be freely changed, a sufficient water-stopping effect can be obtained by appropriately increasing the height of the water-stopping portion.

Effects of the invention As described above, in the parapet waterproofing device for a flat roof according to this invention, the joint piece 4 having a substantially inverted L-shaped cross section and having a horizontal part 4a and a hanging part 4b is attached to the upper edge of the parapet 2 of the flat roof 1. The horizontal part 4a covers at least the outer edge of the upper surface of the parapet 2, and the hanging part 4b covers the outer upper edge of the parapet 2.
The end portion 3a of the waterproof sheet 3 stretched on the horizontal portion 4 of the joint piece 4 attached to the parapet 2
a, and the covering plate 7 is joined to the outer surface of the hanging portion 4b of the joining piece 4 with its upper edge 7a projecting upward from the horizontal part 4a of the joining piece 4. Since the upper edge 7a serves as a water stop part, it effectively prevents dirt such as dust adhering to the surface of the waterproof layer on the parapet 2 from flowing down along the outer surface of the parapet 2 together with rainwater. Therefore, the outer surface of the parapet 2 and the outer surface of the side wall of the building can be prevented from becoming dirty, and the appearance of the building can be maintained beautifully for a long period of time. Further, the waterproofing device has the advantage that it can be constructed easily and inexpensively, and the parapet 2 can be reliably waterproofed.
