作業と、製品材の取出作業と、更に挽き割りを継続する
戻し材の回収作業等を行う、ところでその挽割作業の手
順は、例えば板状の材の両端部に樹皮部が表れているい
わゆる耳部が両側に付いた材(以下両耳材Anと記す)
から小径角材等の製品材A2を挽き取るにあたっては、
まず片方の耳部aQを挽き取り、もう片方の耳部alの
みが残った材(以下片耳材Atと記す)とする0次いで
その挽き落とし面を基準として、これを定規板にあてが

まとめて片方の耳部a6のみを挽き落とす段階までの処
理をしてこれを集積させておき、片方の耳部agが挽き
落とされた片耳材Atを一定枚貯留したところで次に各
村ごとにこれを何回も繰り返して挽割装置を通過させ、
何枚か挽き取れるだけの角材または板材を挽き割る、い

接して前記挽割コンベヤ2と戻しコンベヤ3との間を横
切るように材Aの供給装置30が設けられるものであっ
て、このものは材供給部5側に基軸31を設けて供給装

ヤ210のレベルとの間を切替自在に移動できるような

は挽割コンベヤと戻しコンベヤとの間を横切るように製
品材回収コンベヤを設けるととも、廃材取出部側には前
記取出側仕分けコンベヤと製品材を回収する製品材回収
