Further, there is a known example of a dosimeter having a structure in which an IC card can be inserted and removed, as disclosed in Japanese Patent Application No. 19658/1983.

There was no part where the IC card could be clearly identified and recognized when worn by the dosimeter user himself, and there was a problem that someone else could use it by mistake. Furthermore, the IC card attachment/detachment mechanism does not take into account usability, and there are points that need to be improved in practice. Furthermore, the IC card insertion and dosimeter activation switches are provided independently, and no consideration has been given to low power consumption.

A photograph of an individual is attached to the dosimeter 1 with a removable IC cart 2 attached to the front surface of the IC card 2 (the back side is provided with contact terminals for communicating information with the electronic circuit inside the dosimeter).3.
It is installed so that the 4th grade personnel can access it from the outside. The IC cards mentioned here refer to all memory cards, including those with ISO standard specifications and RAM cards that do not have a computer installed. Figure 2 shows the configuration of this dosimeter.

An IC card 2 is connected to the computer 7 via a contact terminal, so that the user's personal information recorded in the IC card 2 can be managed instantly. For example, the user's past radiation exposure is recorded, and it is evaluated whether the result of integrating the current radiation exposure exceeds the radiation exposure control value. If the control value is exceeded, a buzzer 8 generates an alarm. Moreover, the IC card 2 can be attached and detached, and when leaving the radiation control area, the IC card 2 is attached and detached from the dosimeter and only the IC card 9 is replaced. Naturally, the radiation dose data within the controlled area at that time is recorded in the IC cart 9. The other main components of the dosimeter are the display section 10 that displays the current exposure dose value and management value. Panteri 11 and its Panteri Chiekka 1

Although not shown, there may be a guard at the entrance gate to the controlled area or inside the controlled area, and identification of the person may be required. In order to cope with such a case, the present invention makes it possible to easily present the tag information of the IC card even when the IC card is attached to the dosimeter.

Therefore, with this structure, the power switch is turned on immediately before the dosimeter starts to be used, which is highly effective in saving power consumption. Furthermore, with this structure, there is no need to provide an operating power switch outside the dosimeter, and it is possible to prevent accidents in which the power is cut off due to erroneous operation.

The measurement operation of the dosimeter 1 begins when the dosimeter is inserted into the entrance gate of the controlled area, and when it is determined that entry is permitted, the dosimeter 1 is removed and the person enters the area (see Figure 3).

Providing a mechanism for locking the storage stopper 24 of the IC card 2 inside the dosimeter at the same time as the start of this measurement operation has the effect of preventing erroneous operation of removing the IC cart 2 within the controlled area.

The card 2 is mounted in a sliding manner, and a microsinch 26 is provided at the tip of the storage part. To take out the IC card 2, move the chute 27 in the direction of the arrow to eject a part of the IC card 2 to the outside of the dosimeter 1. After that, the IC card 2 is manually removed.

A guide 28 into which the C card 2 is inserted is provided outside the dosimeter 1, and the IC cart 2 is taken in and out along the guide 27. There is nothing inside the guide 28, and the IC card 2 can be easily inserted and removed only by manual operation. This modification can provide a simple IC card attachment/detachment mechanism without any mechanical parts such as stoppers, springs, or shooters. Furthermore, in this modification, the surface of the IC card 2 is exposed to the outside of the dosimeter 1, so that the IC cart can be easily identified from the outside.

This means that a third party can easily determine that the personal identification of the dosimeter user and the IC card are the same, making it possible to ensure thorough checks both inside and outside of various controlled areas. Furthermore, since it is possible to provide a simple mechanism for attaching and detaching an IC card to and from the dosimeter, a practical radiation management system using this dosimeter can be realized. Furthermore, since the operating power of the dosimeter can be turned on and off in conjunction with the attachment and detachment of the IC card, power consumption can be reduced.
