Abstract

PURPOSE:To surely suck weld fumes, to prevent deterioration of working environment and to prevent a lowering of efficiency of welding work by mixing the weld fumes sucked by a hood and an auxiliary hood to discharge these. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary duct 2 on which the auxiliary hood 1 is fitted is set up on a main body via an auxiliary fan motor 3 and the weld fumes sucked by the auxiliary fan motor 3 are discharged to a path 7 of the main body and mixed with the weld fumes sucked from the hood 5. The mixed weld fumes are discharged from a duct 11 for discharge through a filter 9 of the main body. The auxiliary duct 2 is made of a metallic spiral pipe, etc., having flexibility and held by a supporting base 4 provided with a magnet so as to be easily attached and detached to works to be welded and the position of the auxiliary hood 1 can be freely fixed.
