BACKGROUND ART There are standards for multi-lamp vehicle lights, such as two-lamp tail and stop lamps, that require a minimum luminous intensity even if one lamp burns out. For example, with a Stotsu lamp, the minimum luminous intensity is 40 cd for one lamp, and the luminous intensity for two lamps is 80 cd or more during normal conditions.
However, the luminous intensity should be below the maximum intensity (140 cd) when both lights are on.

By the way, in order to maintain the minimum luminous intensity for even one lamp, the margin for the minimum value must be considered, but it must be ensured that the maximum luminous intensity is not exceeded, and it must be strictly controlled to reduce variations in the performance of individual lamps. There is. For example, 40 (cd) x 1.75 (times)
×2 (lights) = 140 (cd), and the margin for one light cannot be greater than 1.75.

The present invention includes a disconnection detector for detecting current changes due to disconnection of a multi-light vehicle lamp, and a power supply circuit equipped with a voltage adjustment function, and the output voltage of the power supply circuit is adjusted when the disconnection detector detects a disconnection. This feature is characterized in that the amount of energy is increased.

FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the present invention, in which 1 is a stop lamp having light bulbs 1A and 1B, 2 is a disconnection detector that detects current changes due to disconnection and generates a TTL level signal, 3 is a stop switch, and 4
is a battery, and 5 is a power supply circuit. As this power supply circuit 5, one having a voltage adjustment function, such as a DC-DC converter using a switching regulator system, is used.

The required brightness is achieved by turning on the lamp. When one light is disconnected, the brightness of the remaining light increases by adjusting the voltage, making it darker than when two lights are on, but the difference is small and safety is sufficiently ensured.

As described above, according to the present invention, when one light of a multi-light vehicle light is broken, the voltage is adjusted so that the voltage is higher than normal, so even when one light is broken, the difference from the normal brightness can be maintained. This can contribute to ensuring driving safety. Furthermore, since the normal voltage is low, the lifespan is extended and the heat resistance is improved. Furthermore, since variations in bulb performance can be absorbed by adjusting the voltage, mass productivity is improved.
