Adjust the distance between the axles 5 and pull the vehicle body 33 while pushing down the handle 31 using the secondary wheels 35 as a fulcrum.
The main wheel 34 is raised one step, and then, as shown in FIG. 11, the vehicle body 33 is pulled while lifting the handle portion 31 using the main wheel 34 as a fulcrum, and the secondary wheel 35 is raised one step.
In this way, the main wheel 34 and the subwheel 35 are raised one step at a time alternately.

However, in the case of the transport vehicle, when going up and down stairs, the vehicle body 33 is inclined and the handle part 31 is pushed down, so the handle part 3
1 will be close to the stairs. As a result, the operator had to operate the transport vehicle in a stooped position, creating a problem in that it was extremely difficult to operate the transport vehicle. In particular, it is extremely dangerous to operate the machine in an awkward position while carrying a heavy load.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The transport vehicle of the present invention has a vertical frame, a horizontal loading platform provided below the frame, and a main body rotatably provided below the rear side of the frame. and a subwheel which is rotatably and displaceably provided on the rear side of the frame at a position above the main wheel. A handle portion is provided between the frame and the handle portion, and the handle portion is rotatable from a folded position where the frame is folded to the rear side to a forward tilted position where the frame is tilted toward the front side. It is equipped with a locking mechanism that can be fixed in a folded position where the frame is folded to the rear, a forward tilted position where the frame is tilted to the front, and a vertical position where it is in a straight line with the frame. It has characteristics.

(Function) When the transport vehicle with the above configuration is moved up and down stairs, the handle part is tilted toward the front side of the frame and fixed by the lock mechanism, and then the handle part is operated to alternately move the main wheels and secondary wheels to the fulcrum. Then, the main wheel and the subwheel are alternately raised or lowered one step at a time. At this time, since the handle part is inclined toward the front side of the frame, the handle part is quite far away from the stairs, making it extremely easy for the operator to operate the handle part.

Specifically, the front support 14 has a cross-sectional shape and is fixed to the crosspiece 8 at one end. Also,
The rear support 12 has a rectangular tube shape, and is fitted inside the front support 14 to connect both supports 12, 14.
By penetrating the fixed shaft 15 through the side wall of the front support body 14, the front support body 14 can be raised and raised freely. Furthermore, a locking mechanism 16 is provided between the two supports 12, 14, with which the rear support 12 can be fixed in a predetermined position, that is, in a horizontal position, in a vertical position and in a downwardly inclined position. As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, this lock mechanism 16 has a notch 17 formed at the edge of the side wall of the front support 14 and a notch 17 formed through the side wall of the rear support 12, with both ends cut out. 17, a tension spring 19 interposed between the fixed shaft 15 and the lock pin 18, and a rear support 12.
It consists of an elongated hole 20, etc., which is bored in the side wall of the shaft and through which the fixed shaft 15 passes.

When the rear support member 12 is pulled against the biasing force of the tension spring 19, the lock pin 18 is disengaged from the notch 17 and becomes rotatable. In addition, by moving the rear support body 12 from the horizontal position to the downwardly inclined position or vice versa, the secondary wheel 4 is displaced in the vertical direction, and the distance between the axles of the main wheel 3 and the secondary wheel 4 is adjusted. . Also, when the rear support 12 is in the vertical position, it is in the retracted state.

The secondary wheel 4 is provided with a freely switching reverse rotation prevention device, and in this embodiment, a ratchet type reverse rotation prevention gear 21, which is commonly used in bicycles, is used. When the pin 23 of the switching lever 22, which is rotatably attached to the rear support 12, is locked to the reverse stop gear 21, the secondary wheel 4 rotates only in the direction that pulls the carrier vehicle backward, and when the pin 23 is removed, Freely rotates forward and backward. These structures are conventionally known.

On the other hand, the handle part 5 is formed by bending a pipe into a substantially inverted U-shape, and is pivotally attached to the upper end of the frame 1 so that the handle part 5 can be moved from the folded position where the frame 1 is folded toward the rear side. It is rotatable between a forward tilted position and a forwardly tilted position. That is, in this embodiment, the upper bracket 24 is fixed to the lower end of the handle part 5,
By fixing a lower bracket 25 to the upper end of the frame 1 and passing a shaft 26 through both brackets 24 and 25, the handle portion 5 can be freely rotated with respect to the frame 1.

When climbing stairs with luggage loaded, first, the handle portion 5 is fixed in a forward tilted position, and the reverse rotation prevention device is activated to prevent the secondary wheels 4 from rotating in reverse.
Next, the main wheel 3 and the subwheel 4 are alternately used as fulcrums, and the main wheel 3 and the subwheel 4 are alternately raised one step at a time. Even when going down stairs, the handle part 5 is fixed in a forward tilted position, the secondary wheel 4 is made non-reversible, the main wheel 3 and the secondary wheel 4 are alternately used as fulcrums, and the main wheel 3 and the secondary wheel 4 are alternately rotated. (Effects of the invention) As described above, in the transport vehicle of the present invention, the handle is pivotably attached to the upper end of the frame from the folded position to the forward tilted position, and the handle is fixed at a predetermined position. Since the locking mechanism is provided, if the handle is fixed in a forward tilted position, the handle will become tangled and separated from the stairs or the ground when going up and down stairs or traveling on flat surfaces with four wheels. As a result, the operator can operate the transport vehicle favorably and smoothly without having to bend forward to grasp the handle.

Furthermore, if the handle portion is fixed in a position that is in line with the frame, the height of the transport vehicle itself increases, which is convenient for transporting tall items.

Furthermore, when the handle is fixed in the folded position,

Furthermore, fixing the handle in the forward tilted position or folded position reduces the height of the transport vehicle, and prevents the handle from hitting the wall even when there is a narrow landing in the middle of a staircase, such as in a building in an apartment complex. It is possible to pull the carrier and the carrier can be moved up and down from stairs to landings and vice versa very easily.

In addition, the handle portion is rotatable from the folded position to the forward tilted position, and the handle portion can be fixed in any of the folded position, the vertical position, and the forward tilted position by the lock mechanism. Even when cargo is loaded on the loading platform, you can freely rotate the handle and change its position.
The handle portion can also be securely fixed in a predetermined position.

In addition, the secondary wheel is rotatably and displaceably provided on the rear side of the frame at a position above the main wheel, and by displacing the secondary wheel, the distance between the axles between the main wheel and the secondary wheel can be adjusted. Therefore, even when cargo is loaded on the loading platform, if the carrier is placed in an upright position, the secondary wheels can be freely displaced to adjust the axle distance, which is extremely convenient.
