Regarding the perforated polyethylene foam insulation board,
Experiments showed that it was difficult to guide the hot asphalt uniformly through the holes between the base and the foam insulation board.
Furthermore, if it flows over the entire surface, there is no place for gas such as water vapor generated from the underlying surface to escape, and the resulting pressure causes it to swell, making it impossible to adhere as expected. Furthermore, this polyethylene foam has poor adhesion to a waterproofing material such as hot asphalt, and therefore has the disadvantage that the exposed waterproofing layer formed thereon is likely to peel off.

The waterproof base material of this invention has a thin groove that communicates from the edge to each through hole on the surface of the foam sheet that is attached to the base material, which has a large number of through holes formed therein, and at least a through hole in this surface. It is characterized in that a temporary adhesion layer is formed around the hole, and a layer compatible with the waterproof coating material is formed on the other side.

In this invention, the layer compatible with the coating film waterproofing material is a woven fabric such as cheesecloth, a non-woven fabric, or a synthetic resin film whose surface treatment has been applied to improve adhesion, such as a corona-treated polyethylene film coated with urethane resin. Refers to things with a thin coating.

In this invention, since a temporary adhesive layer is provided at least around the through holes on the adhesive surface of the foamed sheet having through holes to the base, at least the adhesive layer is provided around the through holes, so that when the sheet is placed on the base to be applied, at least The area around the hole is temporarily bonded to the base layer with a temporary bonding layer. Since a groove is formed on the surface that communicates from the edge to each through hole, when a waterproof material such as urethane resin is poured onto the top surface to form a waterproof layer, gas such as air in the through hole can be removed. The water escapes through the narrow grooves, and the waterproof layer flows smoothly into the through holes and reaches the base. Therefore, the sheet is fixed to the base material in a state where the waterproof material is blocked by the temporarily attached portion around the through hole and does not flow between the base material and the base material.

In addition, the water vapor gas generated from the base material then escapes from the narrow grooves, but mainly through the gap between the base material and the base material, which has become separated due to the pressure of the gas. does not occur.

Reference numeral 1 denotes a closed-cell flexible foam sheet, in which through-holes 11 are perforated at approximately equal intervals in the range of 30 to 3000 per 100 cm 2 , for example in a staggered pattern.

The closed-cell, flexible foam sheet 1 is a foam sheet whose main material is a resin such as polyethylene, polypropylene, or a copolymer of a monomer such as ethylene or propylene with another monomer, and in particular, a polyolefin resin. A cross-linked foam is preferably used.

The hole size used is particularly in the range of 1 to 15 mm in diameter. If the pore diameter is too large or the pore density is too large, the strength and cushioning properties of the foam sheet will decrease, and if the pore diameter and pore density are small, the effect of adhesion to the substrate through the through holes will be small, which is undesirable in either case. .

Note that cheesecloth 2 is attached to the upper surface of the foam sheet 1 so as not to obstruct the through holes 11. This is to improve adhesion to a waterproof material such as the urethane waterproof material 5 formed on the top surface.

Then, the depth and width of the side edge of the sheet 1 to be adhered to the base are 0.5 to communicate with each through hole 11.
A narrow groove 12 of about 3 mm is provided, and a temporary adhesive layer 3 is further formed except for the groove and the through hole. This narrow groove 12 is smaller than the through hole 11 and has a size that prevents the paint film waterproofing material from flowing, and the temporary adhesion layer 3 is for temporarily adhering the sheet 1 to the base, and is designed to prevent temporary adhesion. Adhesives and pressure-sensitive adhesives are used. For example, natural rubber-based, chloroprene-based, nitrile-based, or acrylic-based adhesives or pressure-sensitive adhesives may be applied in smaller amounts than those normally used for adhesion or adhesion, such as the usual 100 g/ m2 . If there is, a temporary adhesion layer is formed with a coating amount of 50 g/m 2 , which is approximately half of that.

The waterproof base material of this invention has thin grooves that lead to the through holes and a temporary adhesive layer on the surface of the perforated foam sheet that is attached to the base material, so that at least the area around the through holes is temporarily adhered when it is laid on the base material. At the same time as the urethane waterproof material formed on the top surface is applied, it flows smoothly into the through hole and reaches the base, but it is blocked by the temporary adhesive area around the through hole and does not flow between the base material and the base. In this state, the sheet is fixed to the base. The temporarily bonded surface formed by the temporary bond layer is then easily peeled off by the pressure of gas such as water vapor generated from the base, and the gas between the layers dissipates to the surroundings through the gaps or the narrow grooves, so that no blistering occurs.
