(技術分野)
本発明は微弱な入射光を光電面で光電変換して
発生した光電子をダイノードで増倍してアノード
に捕集する光電子増倍管、さらに詳しく言えば単
一の光電面に入射した光の入射位置を検出するこ
とができる入射位置情報を取出し可能な光電子増

(発明の構成)
前記目的を達成するために本発明によれば入射
位置情報を取出し可能な光電子増倍装置は、真空

に形成された光電面、前記光電面に平行な1以上
の面に沿つて層状に電極が配置され、少なくとも
一つの層状の電極が複数領域に分割されており、
前記光電面の放出した光電子を増倍するダイノー
ド群と、前記ダイノード群により増倍された電子
を捕捉するアノードと、前記光電面,ダイノード
群,アノード間に動作電圧を供給し前記ダイノー
ドの増幅度を分割領域ごとに調節する動作電源装
置と、前記ダイノード群の複数領域に分割された
電極のそれぞれの出力を個別に取り出し各出力間
の相関を演算することにより前記光電面に入射し
た光の入射位置の分布を演算する演算装置から構

(発明の効果)
以上説明したように本発明による光電子増倍管
を用いた入射位置検出装置は、最終段ダイノード
を複数に分割し各増倍率を調整することによつ
て、光電面およびダイノードの位置による感度、
増倍率の不均一さを補正でき、アノードを複数に
分割した光電子増倍管を用いることによりかなり

ト面内側に形成された光電面、前記光電面に平行
な1以上の面に沿つて層状に電極が配置され、少
なくとも一つの層状の電極が複数領域に分割され
ており、前記光電面の放出した光電子を増倍する
ダイノード群と、前記ダイノード群により増倍さ
れた電子を捕捉するアノードと、前記光電面,ダ
イノード群,アノード間に動作電圧を供給し前記
ダイノードの増幅度を分割領域ごとに調節する動
作電源装置と、前記ダイノード群の複数領域に分
割された電極のそれぞれの出力を個別に取り出し
各出力間の相関を演算することにより前記光電面
に入射した光の入射位置を演算する演算装置から
構成した入射位置情報を取出し可能な光電子増倍
装置。 2 前記真空容器は円筒状の気密容器で、前記光
