小手頭に詰物として多量の毛芯ｄを用いるには縫
製上の困難を伴い、もし縫製ができたとしても使
用者の手先の運動が不自由になると共に竹刀が握
りにくくなるとか、外観が悪くなる等の欠点があ
つた。

本考案の剣道用小手は、親指を挿入する小手頭
