Conventionally, heat storage materials used in this type of heat storage device include:
Water was mainly used. Such a heat storage device that uses only the sensible heat of water has an extremely small heat storage capacity. For this reason, recently, inorganic hydrated salts (for example, calcium chloride hexahydrate with a melting point of 30°C) have been used as heat storage materials, as shown in JP-A-53-14837.
Attempts have been made to significantly downsize the heat storage device by utilizing the large latent heat generated when this inorganic hydrated salt solidifies and melts.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, in putting the above-mentioned attempt into practical use, a method for accurately sensing the degree of heat storage in the latent heat storage material that solidifies and melts has not been established. The system could not be operated well and could not be put to practical use. In addition, there is a method related to sensing the degree of heat storage called Utility Model Application No. 55-126583, which uses ice-water, where the specific weight of the solid is smaller than that of the liquid.
It cannot be used when the heat storage material is an inorganic hydrated salt whose solid specific weight is greater than that of the liquid.

In view of the above points, the present invention provides a degree of heat storage in a latent heat storage material in which the specific weight of the solid is larger than that of the liquid.
In particular, it is an object of the present invention to provide a heat storage device that can accurately sense the state at the end of heat storage using a simple method and smoothly operate the heat storage system.

The above purpose is to provide a heat storage device using a heat storage container containing a latent heat storage material whose specific weight in solid state is larger than that in liquid state. This is achieved by attaching a temperature sensor in the recess and configuring so that the operation of the heater for heating the heat storage container is stopped in response to a signal from the temperature sensor.

A recess that recesses from the outside to the inside of the heat storage container is provided at approximately the center of the bottom of the heat storage container, and a temperature sensor is installed inside this recess, so that the solid heat storage that remains submerged at the bottom of the heat storage container until the end of heat storage. It is possible to accurately measure the temperature of the material. Furthermore, since the temperature sensor is provided in the recess of the heat storage container, it is possible to suppress measurement errors due to heat flowing into the temperature sensor by thermal conduction from the high temperature fluid flowing on the outer surface of the heat storage container.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2. In these figures, reference numeral 1 denotes a heat storage container containing a latent heat storage material consisting of a liquid heat storage material 2a and a solid heat storage material 2b, and the heat storage container 1 is housed in an envelope 4 in multiple stages. As shown in Figure 2,
A recess 8 recessed from the outside to the inside of the heat storage container 1 is also provided at approximately the center of the bottom of the heat storage container 1, and a temperature sensor 3 (e.g., a thermistor, thermocouple, expansion type thermosensitive sensor using liquid and gas) is installed inside the recess. A cylinder) is provided. 5 is a heater disposed at the bottom of the envelope 4 and below the lowest heat storage container 1n; 6 is a heater connected to the temperature sensor 3 and the heater 5 via lead wires; 6 is an operating device connected to the temperature sensor 3 and the heater 5 via lead wires, and 10 is a fan installed in the upper opening of the envelope 4.

Air introduced from the lower part of the envelope 4 by driving the fan 10 flows around the heater 5 and the group of heat storage containers and is discharged to the outside of the envelope 4 from the upper opening. In this case, the heat generated in the heater 5 is transferred to the heat storage container 1 through the air, and the latent heat storage materials therein, that is, the solid heat storage material 2b and the liquid heat storage material, that is, the solid heat storage material 2b and the liquid heat storage material 2a. is transmitted to.

When an inorganic hydrated salt (for example, calcium chloride hexahydrate having a melting point of 30° C.) is generally used as the latent heat storage material, the heat storage material in the heat storage container 1 changes as follows during the heat storage process. At first, only the solid heat storage material 2b is present, but upon receiving heat from the outside, the solid heat storage material 2b begins to melt and changes into the liquid heat storage material 2a. Since the specific weight of the liquid heat storage material 2a is smaller than that of the solid heat storage material 2b, the heat storage material 2a always floats above the heat storage material 2b. Even if heat storage progresses and the amount of heat storage material 2a becomes larger than that of heat storage material 2b, this relationship does not change. Therefore, even if the size of the solid heat storage material 2b is reduced, it remains in a state of sinking to the bottom surface of the heat storage container 1. The temperature of the solid heat storage material 2b is at or below the melting point, whereas the temperature of the liquid heat storage material 2a is above the melting point. Therefore, in order to accurately detect whether or not heat storage has been completed, it is necessary to track the solid heat storage material 2b, which has become smaller, and determine whether or not it has melted and reached a temperature above its melting point.

We conducted various experiments corresponding to the melting conditions of latent heat storage materials such as inorganic hydrated salts, and completed a method that is simple, accurate, and highly practical.
That is, a recess 8 recessed from the outside to the inside of the heat storage container 1 is provided approximately at the center of the bottom surface of the heat storage container 1,
A temperature sensor 3 was attached within this recess 8. When observing the inside of the heat storage container 1, it was found that the temperature of the temperature sensor 3 being above the melting point corresponds well to the fact that the solid heat storage material 2b inside the heat storage container 1 is completely melted. I understand. The signal from the temperature sensor 3 is output to the operating device 6, the operating device 6 is activated, the input to the heater 5 is cut off, and the operation of the heater 5 is stopped.

Note that if the temperature sensor 3 is simply attached to the flat outer surface of the bottom of the heat storage device 1, it often shows a value close to the temperature of the outside air, which has a high degree of fall. It is inconvenient that it has been stopped. In the case of such an attachment method, experiments have shown that 20 to 30% of the heat storage material remains unmelted, resulting in insufficient heat storage. In addition, in an experiment in which a recessed part recessed from the outside to the inside was provided at approximately the center of the upper surface of the heat storage container 1 and a temperature sensor 3 was attached thereto to sense the temperature of the liquid heat storage material 2a floating in the upper part of the heat storage container 1. Approximately 80% of the heat storage material remained unmelted, resulting in insufficient heat storage. There is also a method of disposing a thin pipe containing a temperature sensor 3 at the bottom of the heat storage container 1 to sense the temperature of the solid heat storage material 2b remaining at the bottom, but when the heat storage container 1 is made of plastic, However, it is difficult to insert the thin pipe into the heat storage container 1, causing problems such as the heat storage material leaking out from the inserted part, and is therefore impractical.

The concave portion in the approximate center of the bottom of the heat storage container 1 used in the present invention can be easily created by press processing when the material of the heat storage container 1 is metal, or by injection molding using a mold when the material is plastic. Can be done.

As explained above, according to the present invention, the temperature of the solid heat storage material in the heat storage container can be easily adjusted by a simple method, the state at the end of heat storage can be accurately sensed, and the heat storage system can be operated smoothly. It became useful for practical use.
