この考案は立型の混合水栓に関し、特に洗面台
用の混合水栓で、該水栓が化粧カバーを使用して
いるタイプである場合における化粧カバーの構造

トはステンレス鋼板などでつくられている。そし
て、エスカツチヨン部分に雌ねじ部分を設け、雄
ねじ（取付ビス）を利用して前面プレートをエス
カツチヨン部分に取付けをする。この場合に、最
近の一般的傾向として取付ビスの数や、取付ビス
の頭部の突出に関して、外観の美の観点から、手
で触れた場合に危険である点から、または突出部
に汚れが付きやすいという点から、さらにまたコ
ストの点から、ビスの数を減少させ、また、ビス
頭部の突出を無くすような改良が種々行なわれて

る。本考案は、このような点についての解決を目

以下、図面によつて本考案の実施例を説明す
る。第１図、第２図で、１０は立型混合水栓、１
は化粧カバーで、エスカツチヨン部分（亜鉛合金
ダイキヤストで形成）２、前面プレート（ステン
レス鋼板により形成）３によつて構成されてい
る。化粧カバー１の内部に水栓本体１１が納めら
れる。９は該水栓本体と一体の吐水口であり、１
３は１１に対し一体式に連結された湯または水の
ソケツトである。該ソケツト１３は、混合水栓の
場合には、湯用、水用の２本が水栓本体の左右
（下方）に取付けられる（第２図参照）。１２は水

チが設けられている。そして前面プレート３の前
記折曲げ縁部４は前記ノツチ６にぴつたりはま
り、且つ、この場所に係止されるように形成され

レートに、その前端に近接して開口を設け、そし
てその後端に折曲げ縁部を設け、またエスカツチ
ヨン部分にその後端の内側にノツチを有するリブ
を設け、この場合、前記前面プレートの前記折曲
げ縁部は前記エスカツチヨン部分の前記ノツチに
係合するように、また前記プレートの前記開口は
水栓の吐水口に嵌合するように、構成するととも
に、前記吐水口に関して吐水キヤツプをねじ込ん
で締めることによつて、前記前面プレートをエス
カツチヨン部分に対して固定するようにしたこと
