Claims (1)
- シリンダブロツクの下面にその全域を覆うよう
にしてシリンダブロツク補強部材を締着するとと
もに、該シリンダブロツク補強部材の下面に、該
下面の一部を覆うようにしてオイルパンを取り付
け、さらに上記シリンダブロツク側にほぼその全
長に跨がるようにして設けたベアリングビームを
、該シリンダブロツク補強部材に設けたビーム取
付ボスを上下方向に貫通して配置されるビーム取
付ボルトにより該シリンダブロツク補強部材に対
して締結固定するようにしたエンジンにおいて、
上記シリンダブロツク補強部材の各ビーム取付ボ
ス部分の剛性を、上記オイルパンの内部位置に配
置されるものの剛性が、該オイルパンに外部位置
に配置されるもののそれよりも高くなるように相
対的に設定したことを特徴とするエンジンの補強
構造。
