As shown in Japanese Patent No. 8-46374, a service port for electrical components and a connector to which piping from the indoor unit is connected are provided on one side of the exterior body. When installing this separate air conditioner, insert the operating wire from the indoor unit through the service port, connect this operating wire to the electrical components inside the service port, close the service port with a cover, and cover the operating wire with the exterior. It is fixed by pressing it against the body.

Therefore, the operating wire pulled out from the service port and the piping connected to the connector are led to the outside of the heat exchange unit from the same place on this cover, making it possible to improve the appearance of one side of the unit. The operating wire can be routed along the piping from within the cover, reducing the possibility that the operating wire will unnecessarily come out of the heat exchange unit.
