Since the tip of the capacitor is housed in the recess 43 provided in the insulating plate 44, there is no protrusion on the surface that comes into contact with the printed circuit board, etc., so the capacitor is stable without tilting or wobbling. has. However, in these electrolytic capacitors, the lead wire 41 is used as is, or the tip is pressed to make it flat and the pressed part is bent. There was a problem in that it required many steps: cutting, pressing, and bending.

A capacitor element 5 is constructed by winding a cathode foil with a lead terminal 4 connected thereto through capacitor paper. The capacitor element 5 is impregnated with a driving electrolyte, and the lead terminals 2,
4 is inserted into the elastic sealing plug 6, the capacitor element 5 and the elastic sealing plug 6 are housed in a metal case 7, the open end of the metal case 7 is tightened, and the body near the open end is pressed. A seaming portion 8 and a pressing portion 9 are formed and sealed. The impregnation with the driving electrolyte may be performed after the lead terminals 2 and 4 of the capacitor element 5 are inserted into the elastic sealing plug 6. Further, by adhering or placing a terminal plate 10 made of a rigid body on the upper surface of the elastic sealing plug 6, the tensile force applied to the lead wires 1 and 3 can be prevented.

The insulating plate 11 has grommets 12 and 13 through which the lead wires 1 and 3 are inserted, which are integrated at the time of molding the insulating plate 11, and the inner diameter dimensions of the grommets 12 and 13 are such that the lead wires 1 and 3 are inserted into the insulating plate 11. There is no problem in inserting the
It is desirable that the difference between the lead wires 1 and 3 is as small as possible and the diameter is small. The lead wire 1 inserted through the eyelets 12 and 13 attached to such an insulating plate 11,
3 is on the eyelets 12 and 13, that is eyelet 1
2, 13, a protrusion 14 is formed and cut so as to protrude diametrically from the inner diameter of the eyelet 12, 13, as shown in FIG. To form this protrusion 14, the lead wires 1 and 3 may be cut in a V-shape by aligning a pair of sharp cutting edges. Therefore, lead wire 1,
3 is locked to the eyelets 12 and 13 by the protrusion 14 formed during cutting, so the insulating plate 11 will not come off. When such an electrolytic capacitor is fixed to a board using cream solder, the cream solder melts due to heating and enters the open ends of the grommets 12 and 13, increasing the connection area with the board electrodes. It solidifies so you can get a perfect connection. In the above embodiment, the case where the protrusion 14 is formed when cutting the lead wires 1 and 3 has been described, but it is also possible to cut the lead wires 1 and 3 to a predetermined length and press the ends to form the protrusion, or The lead wires 1 and 3 are deformed by pressing etc. on the grommets 12 and 13 to form the lead wires 1 and 3.
3 may be cut after providing the protrusion. Furthermore, if the protruding portion 14 protrudes from the upper surface of the insulating plate 11 and is unstable when attached to the board, it may be considered to provide protrusions at several locations on the insulating plate to stabilize it.

It has the advantage of preventing defects, and is simple to operate and can omit steps.
