However, sealing methods using such amorphous sealing materials are difficult because it requires skill to reliably fill the joints, and the sealing materials generally do not have elasticity after hardening, so the sealing materials do not form on the joint walls. The disadvantage was that the sealing material could not follow the behavioral displacement, resulting in a reduction in sealing effectiveness.

For this reason, attempts have been made to use elastic string-shaped regular sealing materials. As such a string-like regular sealing material, a foam material mainly made of rubber and/or synthetic resin has good adhesion by absorbing the unevenness of the joint wall, and can also sufficiently follow the behavioral displacement of the joint wall. Therefore, it is preferable. However, since foam is a lightweight and flexible material, it easily deforms and bends due to wind pressure, which makes construction more complicated.After construction, it deteriorates due to exposure to wind and rain. There was a problem that the sealing effect was unavoidably deteriorated over time.

The present invention provides a string-like joint sealing material that solves the above-mentioned problems with a simple structure. The reason is that a foam layer is provided on one side of the base material, which exhibits the ability to recover when compressed.

In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes an elastic sheet-like base material made of plastic, rubber, metal treated with anti-rust treatment, etc., and a bent part 11 having a V-shaped cross section is formed in the center part in the width direction. . Reference numeral 2 denotes a foam layer that exhibits resilience upon compression and is provided on one side of the sheet-like base material 1 by means such as adhesion. The foam constituting this layer is a closed or open cell foam mainly made of rubber and/or synthetic resin, such as synthetic rubber such as ethylene-propylene-diene copolymer, chloroprene, or polyurethane, polyethylene, polyurethane, etc. Made of synthetic resin such as vinyl chloride, with a specific gravity of 0.3 to 0.02, preferably 0.2
A value in the range of ~0.05 is desirable. This specific gravity
If it is larger than 0.3, the flexibility will be poor and it will be difficult to reliably fill the joint gaps, and if it is smaller than 0.02, it will be unfavorable because it will have poor recovery ability due to compression. Therefore, the width of the foam layer 2 is approximately equal to or larger than the width of the base material 1;
When the width is large as shown in the figure, the restoring force can be increased after the foam layer is compressed and deformed to the joint, and the foam layer reliably fills the joint gap in a water-tight manner. be able to. Such foam layer 2
is larger than the width of the base material 1, and if the interface 10A between the flat part 10 of the base material 1 and the foam layer 2 is in a non-adhesive state, the layer 2 can be freely compressed. Therefore, it is preferable. 3 and 3 are pressure-sensitive adhesive layers provided on both sides of the foam layer 2, and 4 and 4 are release films temporarily attached on the layer 3, respectively.

The sealing material configured in this manner is sequentially inserted into the joint gap by compressing the sheet-like base material 1 and the foam layer 2 from the width direction so that the width becomes smaller than the joint width. The sheet-like base material 1 can be easily compressed and deformed in the width direction by the bent portions 11, and after being attached to the joint portion, rebound resilience is formed by the restoring force of the bent portions 11. The joint wall is pressed against the base material and the joint portion is sealed. On the other hand, the foam layer 2, which was inserted in a compressed state at the same time, gradually exhibits its resilience after being installed, and completely fills the joint gaps. Next, the release film 4 is sequentially peeled off by pulling it upward, and the foam layer 2 is removed.
The adhesive layer 3 provided on the outer surface of each joint is brought into close contact with the joint wall to form a joint having good watertightness. However, as shown in FIG. 2A, if the tip of the release film 4 is made to protrude beyond the sealing material, after it is attached to the joint, the film 4 is moved approximately at right angles to the film surfaces, as shown in FIG. 2B. It is easy to peel off the film 4 because it can be easily pulled out after being folded back so that it is in contact with the film 4. Furthermore, a low adhesive resin layer such as a silicone resin is formed on the outer surface of the film 4 (the surface opposite to the adhesive layer 3). In this case, as mentioned above, when the film surfaces are brought into contact with each other and pulled out, there is little resistance at the contact interface, so that the film can be easily pulled out against the rebound elasticity of the sheet-like base material 1 and the restoring force of the foam layer 2. It has the advantage of being able to

The bent portions 11 of the sheet-like base material 1 may be arranged in an inverted V-shape as shown in FIG. FIG. 4 shows an arc-shaped bent portion 11 formed on the sheet-like base material 1, and as described above, the base material 1
can be easily compressed and deformed in the width direction. However, as shown in the figure, the base material 1 may be constructed by combining the bent portion 11 and the flat portion 10 with different materials. For example, if the bent portion 11 is made of a material having high elasticity, It is preferable because it exhibits strong rebound elasticity after being installed. FIG. 5 shows a sheet-like base material 1 in which bent portions 11 having a wave-shaped cross section are formed, and by freely waving in this manner, the appearance of the joint portion is rich in decoration. FIG. 6 shows a case in which foam layers 20, 20 each having a trapezoidal cross section are adhered to the outer surface 11A of the bent portion of a sheet-like base material 1 having a V-shaped bent portion 11; Resilience of 1 and foam layer 2
It is understood that a restoration capacity of 0.20 constitutes a joint with good watertightness.

Since the present invention is constructed as described above, it has the feature that construction can be carried out by simply compressing the sealing material sequentially from the width direction and inserting it into the joint gap. Moreover, when compressing the sealing material, the sheet-like base material can be easily compressed and deformed in the width direction by the bent portion, and when the sealing material is inserted into the joint gap, the base material is made of foam. Since it functions as a support material for the layer, it has the advantage that the foam layer will not bend or twist due to wind pressure or the like. Also, after construction,
The joint wall is pressed by the rebound elasticity of the base material, and the foam layer is covered with the base material, effectively preventing deterioration of the layer, so that a good sealing effect can be exhibited for a long period of time. There is.
