Since it is fitted with a magnetic cap, it is heavy and inconvenient to handle and transport. It is also expensive due to high material and processing costs, and has the problem of poor cooling effectiveness due to its large heat capacity. It is something.

実に行われるものである。(Function) The welding chip configured as described above is formed by forming a pair of halves by pressing conductive plate materials,
A wear-resistant cap is held in the cap holding portion of these halves, and they are coupled by a coupling means, a conductive portion is formed by the constriction, and after coupling, a mounting thread is formed in the thread forming portion. Then, attach it to the welding head of the welding machine using the screw, establish continuity through the conductive part, accurately feed the welding wire to the welding part through the hole in the wear-resistant mouthpiece, and generate an arc to weld the object to be welded. These operations can be performed stably and reliably over a long period of time.

As shown in Fig. 3, the shape of the side cross section is approximately circular, and the tip side is provided with a holding part a, which will be described later, and which is open at the tip side, and an inwardly constricted part b, b is provided at the middle part, and the other end side is provided with a portion c for forming a mounting screw (described later), and when these halves 1, 1 are joined by a connecting means to be described later, by sandwiching and squeezing the mandrel 2 between them, A conductive portion 3 that contacts and conducts with a welding wire (not shown) is formed.

As shown in Fig. 4, flanges connected to the edges of the half bodies 1, 1 are used, and the flanges 6, 6 are overlapped and molded into a corrugated shape, chevron shape, etc. using a press, as shown in the same figure. Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 5, provide a square claw 6 only on the edge of one half body 1, and bend this claw 6 to the other half body 1 as shown in the same figure. However, the method is limited to these joining methods. Of course, other means can be freely selected and adopted as long as a simple and reliable connection can be achieved.

る。 In addition, since the above-described half bodies 1, 1 have the conductive part 3 only in the central constriction part b, if the current carrying capacity is insufficient, a carbon tube or the like is installed in the space inside the half bodies 1, 1. By inserting a welding wire into the welding wire and making it conductive by passing a welding wire through it, sufficient current carrying capacity can be obtained with a slight increase in weight and price.
