Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the amt. of the waste to be disposed as compared to a site area by disposing a floating bottom plate into an underground cylindrical space which is circumferentially enclosed with an underground continuous wall arriving at the impermeable strata and stores water therein and lowering the floating bottom plate with an increase in the amt. of the waste thrown onto the floating bottom plate. CONSTITUTION:The floating bottom plate 5 on which the waste is thrown is disposed in the underground cylindrical space 4 which is circumferentially enclosed with the underground continuous wall 2 arriving at the impermeable strata 1 and stores water therein. The water 3 in the space 4 is discharged to lower the floating bottom plate 5 with an increase in the amt. of the waste 8 thrown onto the floating bottom plate 5. As a result, the amt. of the waste to be disposed is larger than the site area and the possibility of aggravating the environment in terms of sewage, smells or scenes, etc., is eliminated. The labor for maintenance and control is lessened and the effective utilization of the facilities after the disposition of filling the waste is possible.

In recent years, the amount of general waste generated by households has been increasing steadily, placing a heavy burden on local governments. Conventionally, municipal waste is disposed of by local governments, such as by directly collecting the waste, or by incinerating, crushing, etc., and disposing of the remaining waste in landfills. However, the amount of waste is increasing day by day, and it is currently difficult to secure disposal sites. Furthermore, the disposal site that was located was planned to have a shallow bottom and a wide mouth, which was not necessarily appropriate from the standpoint of effective land use. In cities around Tokyo, new disposal facilities built under a 10-year storage plan are closing down within seven to eight years due to population growth exceeding the plan.

This invention was made in view of the above circumstances. The purpose is to dispose of a large amount of waste compared to the land area, to eliminate the risk of deteriorating the environment in terms of sewage, odor, or landscape, to save time and effort in maintenance, and to dispose of waste in landfills. The objective is to propose a waste disposal facility that can effectively utilize the facilities after disposal.

To construct this facility, as shown in Figures 3.4, 5.6゜7, a cylindrical underground continuous wall 2 made of reinforced concrete reaching the impermeable layer 1 is installed (Figure 3), While filling water 3 inside the continuous wall 2 and counteracting the groundwater pressure outside,
The interior is excavated underwater (Fig. 4) to a depth close to the impermeable layer 1, and a cylindrical large capacity (70 mφ in this example,
100m in depth, 300,000m in capacity) (forming D space 4 (Figure 5), a suspension loft in which a disk-shaped floating bottom plate 5 is floated in this space 4 filled with water 3 to maintain the balance of the bottom plate 5. Attach lO and lock it to the upper edge of the space 4 (Fig. 6), attach a steel frame or reinforced concrete roof 6, and
The incidental equipment mentioned above will be provided.

This waste disposal facility consists of the above-mentioned structure, and it collects and transports the same waste that would be disposed of in a conventional landfill, that is, it comes from households, etc., and combustibles are incinerated and non-combustibles are disposed of. Waste that has been reduced in volume through crushing, compression, etc. is subject to disposal.

Initially, the waste 8 is dumped into the dumping space 9 on the floating bottom plate 5 floating at a level close to the top surface of the space 4, but as the amount of the dumped waste 8 increases, the water 3 in the space 4 gradually increases. is discharged by pumping equipment and the floating bottom plate 5 is lowered, at this time,
A steel plate is welded and added to the upper end of the side plate 7 to make the side plate 7 higher and provide a new dumping space 9. At the same time as draining the space 4, the jack 12 with the tip of the hanging rod lO is locked.
.. 12 and gradually lower the floating bottom plate 5. At the same time, the drain pipes of the drainage/water treatment equipment, the exhaust pipes of the degassing/gas treatment equipment, etc. are added and lengthened. To replace the jack 12.12, insert a pin into the bottle hole 13 of the hanging rod 10, temporarily fix it to the support frame 11, extend the jack 12, add the hanging rod 10, and attach the tip to the jack 12. This is done by stopping.

In this way, the dumping of the waste 8 and the lowering of the floating bottom plate 5 are repeated until the floating bottom plate 5 reaches the bottom of the space 4, and the waste 8 is filled in the space 4 to its full height. In a facility where the waste disposal function has been completed, for example, as shown in Fig. 8, the upper opening of the space 4 is covered, a gas-impermeable gastight sheet 14 is laid down, and concrete is poured on top of it to form a floor slab 15.
will be established. In FIG. 8, 16 is gas processing equipment. The waste disposal facility 7 provided with this floor slab 15 can be used as an all-weather multipurpose urban facility, for example, as shown in FIG. Although the facility in the above embodiment has a cylindrical shape, it may also have a rectangular cylindrical shape.

■Waste is dumped on a floating platform in an underground space surrounded by continuous underground walls and sealed off from the outside by an impermeable layer at the bottom, so leachate does not mix with groundwater and there is a risk of environmental pollution. No, ■Waste is dumped in a cylindrical space underground, so compared to conventional disposal sites, odors do not spread, the scenery is not spoiled, and the surrounding environment is not affected. As in the example, It is more suitable to cover the upper surface with a roof because it traps odors.
Moreover, since rainwater does not enter the waste and the amount of leachate does not increase, maintenance management such as leachate treatment does not require much effort and costs are reduced. ■Since the waste dumping space is always at a shallow location, it is easy to dump and cover the waste to fill it in a dense landfill. ■Since the underground space surrounded by the continuous underground wall is full of water, the surrounding groundwater pressure and the internal water pressure are equal to each other. Can withstand the Tonosho of. ■Capacity for waste - By installing a floor such as a concrete slab in the facility after the waste has been landfilled, it is possible to isolate the waste from the outside and confine it underground, and to make effective use of the top surface. I can do it.
