Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacture of a untreated staple by using an untreated staple not subjected to bending and performing the bending onto a staple just before a paper binding. CONSTITUTION:Plural untreated staples 8 not subjected to bending are arranged at a standby position in their stacked state. The lowermost end one of the untreated staples is fed by a feeding means 11 to a feeding position and fed to a work position via a bending position in order. A downward force is acted by a bending member 5 on the constant length part of both side parts of at least one untreated staple having reached this bending position and the untreated staple 8 is subjected to bending in a staple. The downward force is then acted by a pressing member 3 on one staple subjected to bending having reached the work position to perform a paper binding.

(Prior Art) A stapler and a paper binding method using a stapler are known in the art, in which 30 or 50 gate-shaped staples with a small rectangular cross section are bonded together with an adhesive to form a staple assembly. This aggregate is housed in the staple accommodating part of the stapler, and the staples in the aggregate are fed through the accommodating part by a coil spring so that they sequentially reach the gap on the lower surface of the tip of the accommodating part, and are placed above the accommodating part and the substrate. A pushing member that corresponds to and can be inserted into the gap at the tip of the accommodating part is provided at the tip of the cover part whose one end is pivotally supported, and the cover part and the accommodating part are rotated around the support shaft by the gum of the base part. By moving the staple, the pushing member of the cover part pushes down one staple located above the gap of the storage part, and the descending staple passes through the plurality of sheets of paper placed on the pushing base at the tip of the base part, and is further pushed down. The paper is bound by pressing both ends inward on the base.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) In the above-mentioned conventional technology, a large number of staples bent into an n-shape are connected and bonded to each other using an adhesive to form a - unit staple assembly (30 staples, 50 staples, etc.). ), which is housed in a stapler and used as a binding tool. However, manufacturing such a staple assembly requires at least three steps: bending the staples, assembling them in an aligned state, and connecting and bonding them with an adhesive or the like. Because of this, it is difficult to uniformly apply and adhere the adhesive, and the assembly has the disadvantage that it splits before use (before being placed in a stapler).

Also, the number of staples that can be stored in the storage section at one time is
Normally, the number is one staple set, or 50 staples, and once this is used, the cover must be opened, the pusher pushed back, or the pusher removed to load a new staple set. When binding a large number of document sets, it is troublesome to have to stop the work many times and replenish the staple assembly. Furthermore, if the staple assembly had weak adhesive strength, the assembly would often split during loading due to hurried handling, resulting in wastage.

Generally, the pusher 19 moves one staple material assembly 8 to the position of the stopper 17 or the bending guide plate 18, although this varies depending on the length of the staple material assembly 8 in the front-rear direction and the distance between the front end of the accommodating portion 7 and the stopper 17. When the pusher 19 reaches that point, push it back in the direction of the arrow with the operating tool to feed the next staple material aggregate 8.

In the illustrated embodiment, the feeding passage section B is attached to the lower side of the cover section A, and only the pressing handle section 2 moves up and down relative to the feeding passage section B, but this is different from the conventional stapler. Similarly, the feeding passage section B is pivotally supported on the cover section A or the substrate section C, or both, and a spring is inserted between the rear ends of the cover section A and the feeding passage section B in place of the pressing handle section 2. By rotating the cover part A around the axis so as to press it against the feeding passage part B against the It is also possible to adopt a configuration in which bending and binding operations are performed in addition to pressing.

In the above description, a case has been described in which a number of plate-shaped staple material aggregates 8 are stacked and stored in the storage portion 7 of the cover part A, but a single staple material 8' that has not been bent is
It is also possible to carry out a modification in which a number of books are stacked one above the other (conveniently stored in the cartridge 22). In the case of this modification, although it is not possible to accommodate a large number of staple materials at once into the stapler (inside the storage section 7) as in the illustrated embodiment, the stapler is very small (especially A stapler with short longitudinal dimensions can be obtained.

In other words, a die-cut staple is a staple with an arbitrary shape, such as a circle or a heart shape, protruding from one side of the top surface of the staple, and is intended to give an aesthetic sense when binding documents. However, because of this overhang, it is not possible to line up the staples and glue them one after the other like with conventional staples, so the staple assembly is made by aligning the legs on both sides, stacking the top and overhang in a stair-like manner, and gluing only the sides. (For example, 25
I am using it as a book). For this reason, the staple assembly accommodating portion of the stapler also has a special shape, the stapler must be large in proportion to the number of staples, and the adhesion between the staples is also very weak.

However, if the above-mentioned modification is used, neither bending nor adhesion is necessary, and the staple materials that have just been cut out can be stacked and accommodated in the storage section.

Since projecting portions on the upper surface of the staple can be provided on both sides, which was not possible until now, the use of die-cut staples can be expanded.

The paper binding method according to claim 1, wherein the force acting downward at the working position is a force for bending at least one staple material at the working position. 3. The staple material placed at the standby position is a flat staple material aggregate made up of a plurality of staple materials, and the lowest one of the staple material aggregates is fed to the feeding position to remove the aggregate. 3. The paper binding method according to claim 1, wherein the staple material is sequentially fed to a working position via a bending position. 4. A cover part with a pressing handle part at the front end, an unbent staple material feeding passage part provided on the lower side of the cover and having a staple passage gap on the lower surface of the front end, and a pushing pedestal facing the gap on the upper surface of the front end. The cover portion, the feeding passage portion, and the substrate portion are mutually pivotally supported at their rear ends, and the cover portion is located above the gap at a position facing the gap on the lower surface of the press handle. A pressing member that presses the bent staple material downward when it has reached the position, a bending member that bends at least one staple material located inwardly from the pressing member, and a cover portion that is located rearward of the pressing handle portion. The staple material is stored in a stacked state in a transverse direction, and includes a storage part whose lower end is open to the feeding passage part, and the feeding passage part faces and cooperates with the bending member. The stapler according to claim 4, wherein the feeding means of the feeding passage includes at least a pusher and a coil spring. 6. The feeding means of the feeding passage further includes a guide member that supports the fed staple material from below, and a pressing member that is provided on the lower surface of the cover and presses the staple material onto the guide member. The stapler according to claim 5, characterized in that: 7. The bent member of the cover portion has a central recessed portion having a width equal to the bent staple width and both outer portions extending downward from the central recessed portion on the lower surface, and the thickness thereof is equal to the width of at least one staple. a support base having a width equal to the width of the bent staple, and a bending means of the feed passage section cooperating with the bending means of the feed passage section maintaining a distance that allows insertion of the bending member of the cover section; 7. The stapler according to claim 4, further comprising a stopper and a bending guide plate provided in parallel on both sides of the support base. 8. When the pressing handle part is strongly pressed downward and the front end of the feeding passage part is pressed onto the front end of the base plate part,

The stapler according to any one of claims 4 to 7, wherein the pressing handle portion is fitted to the cover portion so as to be slidable in the vertical direction. 10. The stapler according to any one of claims 4 to 9, characterized in that the unbent staple material is a flat staple material aggregate composed of a plurality of staple materials. 11. The stapler according to any one of claims 4 to 9, wherein the unbent staple material has an arbitrarily shaped overhang in its center. 12. The stapler according to any one of claims 4 to 11, wherein the staple material to be accommodated in the accommodating portion of the cover portion is previously accommodated in a cartridge.
