Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 ［産業上の利用分野］ 本発明は一般的には棚支持構造に関する。
本発明は一般的には棚支持構造に関する。特に、本発明
は棚支持構造を与える壁張りに関する。
［従来技術及びその課題の説明］ 従来、垂直保持ストリップによって縁部を結合した大型
の正方形又は長方形をなす多数のパネルからなる壁パネ
ル構造は公知である。これら垂直保持ストリップは、棚
ブラケットを所望の任意高さで固定できる垂直溝を備え
ている。この構造でしばしば出会う問題は、この溝のあ
る位置において棚ブラケ、トを何ならかの方法で保持し
て、滑り落ちるのを未然に防止すると共に、必要に応じ
て、調節可能にしておく必要がある点である。さらに、
この構造の設置には多くの欠陥がある。保持ストリップ
の間隔は壁パネル幅によって極めて厳密に定っているた
め、コーナー間隔や、柱、窓やコンセント等を考慮した
場合、ある特定の壁には不適なことがある。ある特定の
棚を支持する２つかそれ以上の棚ブラケ・ｙ　）は溝に
同じ高さで設ける必要があるが、これは難しく、かつ時
間がかかる。棚の所望長さにＦｆｔ　Ｊｆ＝’ｊ隔が不
向きこともある。この問題は幅の狭い壁パネルを使用す
る場合には、それ程でもないが、使用する清数が増すの
で、所要作業量が増える。
また、米国特許第４，６７４．２４０号公報に記載され
ているように、これら問題は、通常は棚ブラケットを保
持するように成形され、かつフランジを備えた、水平溝
を内部にもっ押出成形プラスチックパネルを使用すれば
、ある程度は解決できる。ところが、この構造はコスト
が比較的高く、壁面に設置するのが、従来構造に比較し
て難しい。プラスチック中間域の肉厚を厚くするか、あ
るいはその他の手段で補強しなければ、パネルの隣接溝
間隔が非常に狭くなる。また、押出成形は各パネルの全
幅を制限する。上記構造では、さらに、多数のパネルを
いわゆる０スチフナストリツプ“に固定してから、これ
らストリップを開示されていない手段によって壁面に取
り付ける必要がある。従って、実際には、これら相互結
合したパネルを一枚の大形シートにする必要があり、設
置上、１頭に説明したパネルと同じ多くの欠陥がある。
［課題を解決する手段］ 本発明は、少なくとも新規かつ改良壁パネル／棚支持構
造を提供するか、あるいは少なくとも一般利用者に有用
な選択肢を与えることを目的とする。
即ち、本発明は、複数の細長い壁パネル、及び通常の使
用状態では該パネルに横断して設ける複数の細長い支持
部材を備えた棚支持構造において、 該支持部材のそれぞれが複数の凹部を備え、該凹部それ
ぞれの下部をくり抜いて、該凹部の開口部に少なくとも
一つの凸縁部を形成し、該壁パネルのそれぞれをシート
材で構成し、このシート材を折り曲げて、該パネルの第
１縁部にそって溝の第１部分を形成し、第１縁部に対向
する第２縁部にそって該第１部分と平行な溝の第２部分
を形成し、かつ溝の該部分間に隆起面を形成し、そして
少なくとも一つの該部分に凸縁部又はフランジを形成し
、これによって該パネルの一方の該第１縁部を第２の該
パネルの該第２縁部に係合させて、少なくとも一つの凸
縁部又はフランジを備えた溝を形成し、そして溝の少な
くとも一つの該部分に、該凹部に嵌合・係合する後方曲
部分を形成して、通常の使用状態で、該凹部の溝の該少
なくとも一つの部分に係合することによって該支持部材
に該壁パネルを固定したこと特徴とする棚支持構造を提
供するものである。
好ましくは、溝の該第１部分の横断面をＳ字状の曲部に
し、該曲部に反対向に曲がる部分を設け、該第１部分に
より凸縁部又はフランジを形成すると共に、該第２部分
を該凹部に嵌合・係合する。
また、細長いパネルを金属シートで構成するのが好まし
い。
［発明の好適な実施態様の説明Ｊ 以下、例示のみを目的として、本発明の好適な実施態様
を説明するが、これから上記目的及びこれ以外の目的が
明らかになるはずである。
第１図は、本発明の好適なパネル支持部材の斜視図であ
り、 第２図は、好適なパネルの断面斜視図であり、そして 第３図は、好適なパネルを支持部材と棚ブラケットと共
に示す側面／横断面図である。
第１〜３図に図示するように、本発明の好ましい実施態
様は、所望範囲の高さで、かつ望ましい、実質的に水平
な間隔で棚ブラケットを取り付ける手段となる、壁パネ
ル１０を相互結合する構造に関する。
第１図に図示するように、本発明は、水平に延長するパ
ネル１０を取り付ける壁に、通常は垂直に設ける保持部
材１１を使用する構造を提供するものである。保持部材
１１は、その好ましい態様では、開口１２を介して釘、
螺等によって壁２０に固定できる、断面がほぼＵ字形の
溝材からなる。保持部材１１の側壁Ｉ３には、パネル１
０の高さにほぼ対応する一定間隔で凹部１４を設ける。
さらに別な凹部１４を、別な高さのパネルＩＯや高さが
異なる複数のパネルＩＯにも保持部材１１を適用できる
ように、この保持部材１１に追加形成してもよい。凹部
１４の下部はくり抜き、凸縁部１５．１６を形成する。
好ましくは、パネル１０は高さが約１５ｃ■で、長さは
任意でよい、圧延金属ノートかストリップで構成する。
また、このパネル１０は、予め定まった寸法ではなく、
注文に応じて所望長さに切断できるようになっているの
が好ましい。なお、パネルの高さはかなりの範囲で変更
できる。例えば、高さが５ｃｍか３００のパネルを使用
できるが、この場合には、保持部材１１も対応して変更
する。ただし、留意すべきことは、一般的には、パネル
の高さが高くなると、棚を取り付けることができる高さ
の範囲が狭くなり、またパネルの高さが低くなると、設
置作業時間が長くなる。といのは、同じ壁面積を被覆す
るのに必要なパネルの数が増えるからである。
好ましくは、壁に取り付けるパネルを切断したり、ある
いはトリミングすることがないように、パネルの合計数
が標準的な壁高さになるようにパネルの高さを遺択する
。
各パネルの上下縁部は折り曲げて、該部分を溝材に嵌合
する。下縁部１７はＳ字状に形成しであるため、第３図
に図示するような通常の使用状態では、保持部材の凹部
１４の凸縁部１５下部に係合し、その後ろ側に回りこみ
、溝材の後壁を形成する。最下端部は、図示のように、
凹部１４のもう一つの凸縁部１６に係合する。
上縁部１８は曲げて、クリップ状に形成する。
このクリップは、通常の使用状態では、凸縁部１６に係
合し、これによってこの上縁部１８だけでなく、上方の
パネル１０の下縁部１７をも押圧固定する。従って、壁
をパネル１０で被覆しようとする場合、最上部のパネル
がまづ所定の箇所に嵌まり、これから順次パネルが所定
の箇所に嵌まっていく。このようにして、最下部のパネ
ルを除く各パネルが所定通りに固定される。
第３図に示すように、パネル１０の下縁部１７は下凸縁
部１６の奥深くまで延長していない。この空間があるた
め、パネルの保持部材１１上の取り付けが容易になる。
まづ、下縁部１７を凹部Ｉ４に嵌合し、下凸縁部１６後
方の空間にできるだけ深く押入する。この位置では、Ｓ
字曲部の後方曲部分１９が上凸縁部１５下方を通過する
のに十分な間隙がある。次いで、後方曲部分１９を上凸
縁部１５空間内に押し上げると、上縁部１８を上部の別
な凹部Ｉ７内に嵌合できる。なお、この構造は、底面及
び後壁が実質的に平坦で、清掃が比較的簡単で、通常の
使用状態では、ダスト等がつかない完成溝材を与えるも
のである。溝材の上面をくり抜いて、棚ブラケットを取
り付けることができるフランジを形成する。
なお、垂直溝材１１間の間隙は決定的なものではなく、
少なくとも一つの保持部材をパネル１０の各端部又はそ
の近くに設ける限りは、安定な壁張りが得られる。しか
し、ひとつそれ以上の保持部材１１をパネル端部間の位
置で壁に追加固定して、補強するのが好ましい。
第３図に示すように、パネル１０の上下縁部によって完
成した溝材２１を使用して、棚ブラケット２２を支持で
きる。この棚ブラケット２２は、通常の使用状態では溝
材２２に係合する係合要素２３と、パネル１０面に当接
する脚２４を備えている。なお、同様な方法で、各種の
ブラケットを溝材２１で支持できる。
保持部材１１及び壁パネル１０を正確に壁２０に取り付
けた場合には、必要な場所に、棚を比較的速く、かつ簡
単に取り付けることができる。同じ溝材２１に２つかそ
れ以上のブラケットを係合しても、これら当然同じ高さ
にあるので、これらによって支持した棚は水平になる。
複数の、あるいは多数の棚を同じ高さに設置するために
、高さを測定する必要ない。同じ高さにおけるブラケッ
ト間の水平距離は、棚の長さに正確に合わせて、容易に
調節できる。
金属パネル１０を使用すると、耐火性にできると共に、
各種の色で着色でき、かつ各種の表面材を晧着できる。
また、圧延工程時に、金属パネルに模様や孔を付けると
、所望の装飾／音響効果を付与することができる。必要
ならば、断熱パネル等をパネルｌＯの後側に設けてもよ
い。
圧延金属以外の材料も使用できるが、現在のところは、
説明した金属パネルが好ましい。
本発明では、以上説明した実施態様以外にも、各種の態
様が可能であり、これらも本発明の範囲に包含されるも
のである。

り、 第２図は、好適なパネルの断面斜視図であり、そして 第３図は、好適なパネルを支持部材と棚ブラケｙトと共
に示す側面／横断面図である。 図中、１０はパネル、１１は保持部材、１２は開口、１
３は側壁、１４は凹部、１５．１６は凸縁部、１７．１
８は縁部、１９は後方曲部分、２０は壁、 ２１は溝材、 ２２は棚ブラケ。 トであ る。

Claims (8)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）複数の細長い壁パネル、及び通常の使用状態では
    該パネルに横断して設ける複数の細長い支持部材を備え
    た棚支持構造において、 該支持部材のそれぞれが複数の凹部を備え、該凹部それ
    ぞれの下部をくり抜いて、該凹部の開口部に少なくとも
    一つの凸縁部を形成し、該壁パネルのそれぞれをシート
    材で構成し、このシート材を折り曲げて、該パネルの第
    １縁部にそって溝の第１部分を形成し、第１縁部に対向
    する第２縁部にそって該第１部分と平行な溝の第２部分
    を形成し、かつ溝の該部分間に隆起面を形成し、そして
    少なくとも一つの該部分に凸縁部又はフランジを形成し
    、これによって該パネルの一方の該第１縁部を第２の該
    パネルの該第２縁部に係合させて、少なくとも一つの凸
    縁部又はフランジを備えた溝を形成し、そして溝の少な
    くとも一つの該部分に、該凹部に嵌合・係合する後方曲
    部分を形成して、通常の使用状態で、該凹部の溝の該少
    なくとも一つの部分に係合することによって該支持部材
    に該壁パネルを固定したこと特徴とする棚支持構造。
  2. （２）溝の該第１部分の横断面をＳ字状の曲部にし、該
    曲部に反対向に曲がる部分を設け、該第１部分により凸
    縁部又はフランジを形成すると共に、該第２部分を該凹
    部に嵌合・係合したことを特徴とする請求項第１項記載
    の棚支持構造。
  3. （３）溝の該第１部分を該第２の曲部分を越えて連続さ
    せて、該パネルの隆起面に実質的に平行な該溝の後面を
    形成すると共に、該後面の他方の縁部を成形して、溝の
    該第２部分に係合させたことを特徴とする請求項第２項
    記載の棚支持構造。
  4. （４）該細長い支持部材の該凹部の開口において該凸縁
    部の周囲に該第１の後方曲部分を嵌合して、該凸縁部が
    該第１後方曲部分を補強するようにしたことを特徴とす
    る請求項第２項記載の棚支持構造。
  5. （５）溝の該第１部分が該各壁パネルの下縁部にあり、
    かつ該第１後方曲部分が下方に延長する凸縁部又はフラ
    ンジを形成し、かつ溝の該第２部分が各該壁パネルの上
    縁部にあることを特徴とする請求項第３項記載の棚支持
    構造。
  6. （６）該細長い支持部材の該凹部の深さを該パネルの該
    隆起面に対して該溝の深さよりも小さくして、該細長い
    支持部材の凹部のない部分が該パネルの該隆起面の後面
    に、またはその近くに位置する共に、該隆起面をバック
    リング等に対して補強するようにしたことを特徴とする
    請求項第３項記載の棚支持構造。
  7. （７）該細長いパネルを金属シートで構成した請求項第
    １項記載の棚支持構造。
  8. （８）該細長いパネルを該支持部材に対して平行に、か
    つ横断方向に移動させて、該パネルを該支持部材に係脱
    させると共に、該第１パネルと共に溝を形成した場合に
    、該第２パネルを該第１パネルに係合して、該第１パネ
    ルが該支持部材に対して平行に動かないようにしたこと
    を特徴とする請求項第１項記載の棚支持構造体。
