    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 像担持体表面に残留するトナーを除去するクリ
    ーニング装置において、空隙を持つ弾性体により
    構成される廃トナー搬送部材と、前記廃トナー搬
    送部材のクリーニング部材とを具備し、前記クリ
    ーニング部材を前記廃トナー搬送部材に圧接せし
    め、前記クリーニング部材と前記廃トナー搬送部
    材との接点における接線と、前記クリーニング部
    材の軸心とのなす角のうち、前記廃トナー搬送部
    材の未クリーニング側の角度を鋭角にしたことを
    特徴とするクリーニング装置。
