Conventionally, attempts have been made to bond elastic lining materials to the mucosal surface of dentures made of hard plastic, such as PMMA resin, in order to improve the ease of attachment to the alveolar ridge and the masticatory function. As such prior art, there is a technique disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 61-255652, which was invented by the inventors of the present invention. In the above prior art, an olefin thermoplastic elastomer is used as the thermoplastic resin, and this is adhesively fixed to a denture base made of PMMA resin using a specific adhesive. In this prior art, the thermoplastic elastomer is
Heat it to 120℃ to soften it and make it into a plaster mold.
It is filled between the PMMA denture base and compressed, and then bonded with an adhesive that has been applied to the mucosal surface of the denture base and dried in advance.

With the tray auxiliary body 6 superimposed on the tray main body 1, a backing material 9 made of a rod-shaped thermoplastic resin bent into an arch shape is placed on the second flat surface 7. This lining material 9 is supported by the second flat surface 7 and the outer peripheral wall 3. This support of the lining material 9 is further ensured by the flange 5. In this supported state, hot air is blown onto the lining material 9 using a dryer or the like to soften it. After the lining material 9 has softened, the tray auxiliary body 6 is moved upwardly from the tray body 1 and the two are separated. At this time, the softened backing material 9 remains attached to the tray auxiliary body 6 because it is placed on the second flat surface 7 of the tray auxiliary body 6. After that, the lining material 9 on the tray auxiliary body 6 is embedded in one flask with plaster,
It is transferred to the mucosal surface of the denture, where only the mucosal surface is exposed, using a spatula or the like.

1 and 2, reference numeral 1 denotes a metal tray body, which includes a first flat surface 2 in the shape of a dental arch, an outer peripheral wall 3 formed on the outer periphery of the first flat surface 2, and a first
It consists of an elongated first gripping part 4 that is integrally fixed to a part of the flat surface 2, for example the top thereof. The outer peripheral wall 3 at a position corresponding to the first gripping part 4 is cut away. Reference numeral 5 denotes a flange formed on the upper edge of the outer peripheral wall 3 so as to be slightly diagonally upward inward. Reference numeral 6 denotes a metal tray auxiliary body, which is integrally fixed to a dental arch-shaped second flat surface 7 that is removably placed on the first flat surface 2, and the second flat surface 7. second grip part 8
It consists of. Reference numeral 9 denotes a backing material placed on the second flat surface 7, and is made of a thermoplastic resin such as a thermoplastic elastomer molded into a cylindrical rod shape. The shape of the lining material 9 may be such that a cylindrical material is forcibly bent to form a dental arch shape, which is then pushed inside the outer peripheral wall 3 and placed on the second flat surface 7. The rod-shaped backing material 9 may be formed in advance into a dental arch shape and placed on the second flat surface 7. When the lining material 9 is forcibly located inside the outer peripheral wall 3 as in the former case, the lining material 9 is placed on the flange 5 of the outer peripheral wall 3.
This prevents it from falling off. A releasable coating such as a Teflon coating can be formed on the surfaces of the first and second flat surfaces 2 and 7 and the inner surface of the outer peripheral wall 3 so that the softened lining material 9 does not stick. In addition, in order to facilitate the separation operation between the tray main body 1 and the tray auxiliary body 6, the widths of the first and second gripping parts 4 and 8 are changed, for example, as shown in the figure, the first gripping part 4 is It can also be made slightly smaller (approximately 2 to 3 mm) than section 8.

The operation of the above configuration will be explained below. With the tray auxiliary body 6 superimposed on the tray main body 1, the lining material 9 is placed inside the outer peripheral wall 3 at the second
Place it on a flat surface 7. In this state, hot air is blown onto the lining material 9 using a dryer or the like to soften it. In this case, even if the overlapping first and second gripping parts 4 and 8 are held and both are turned upside down, the lining material 9 will be caught on the flange 5 and will not fall off. When the lining material 9 is softened to the extent that it can be molded, the tray auxiliary body 6 is separated from the tray body 1, as shown in FIG. At this time, the backing material 9 is transferred while being placed on the second flat surface 7. Thereafter, the tray auxiliary body 6 is turned upside down and the lining material 9 is transferred onto the denture base mucosal surface of one separately prepared flask. At this time, if the lining material 9 adheres to the second flat surface 7 and is difficult to separate, it is peeled off using a spatula or the like. The softened lining material transferred onto the mucosal surface of the denture base is compressed and shaped through a process according to the method disclosed in the above-mentioned prior art, and is completed as a lining material.

According to the present invention, a tray is divided into a tray main body and a tray auxiliary body, and while the two are overlapped, a lining material made of thermoplastic resin is set, and after being heated and softened, the two are separated. , the lining material is placed on the second flat surface of the tray auxiliary and is transferred to the denture preparation surface of the flask. Therefore, the lining material can be efficiently softened by heating and transferred to the mucosal surface of the denture base with simple operations.
