Today, when a dentist cuts or polishes a patient's teeth or dentures, fine dust from the cutting is scattered from the patient's mouth, etc., and this dust enters the human body from the mouth and throat of the patient and doctor. The harmful effects on health and hygiene caused by in-hospital infections caused by viruses and bacteria that adhere to these dust particles, which are directly inhaled, have become a major problem. Therefore, there is a known device that collects cutting dust, as shown in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 59-38938, for example, as a device for suctioning and removing these dust particles. The equipment connected to the suction device can be set up on the floor or the hose can be run on the floor. However, since various complicated equipment for medical treatment, such as a medical chair, is installed on the floor, if you start up the equipment or run a suction hose over it, the treatment area becomes narrow and work efficiency decreases. There is a problem.

Next, one embodiment of the present invention will be described based on the drawings. In the drawing, 1 is a suction port provided at the tip of the suction tube 2, and 3 is a rotating arm that bendably connects the suction tube 2. The rotating arm 3 can freely move the suction port 1 to a desired position. In this embodiment, they are provided at three locations, a proximal end, an intermediate end, and a distal end, so that they can be moved. Reference numeral 4 denotes a knob that can adjust the tightness of the bending in the rotating arm 3 from the outside, 5 is a flexible joint, for example, of a bellows type, and 6 is a rotating seat attached to the ceiling surface. The entire suction tube 2 hanging down from C can freely rotate around the vertical axis. Moreover, in this example, by providing the rotary seat 5 near the rotation axis of the illumination column 20 attached to the treatment table, there is no possibility of interference between the present dust collector and the illumination during operation. In addition, consideration has been given to minimizing the exclusive space occupied by both parties and improving treatment efficiency. In addition, 7 is a balance spring installed between the suction tubes 2 on both sides connected by the rotating arm 3, and even when the suction tubes 2 are operated to an appropriate bending angle state, the balance spring does not maintain the bent position. It is now possible to hold it. Reference numeral 8 denotes a duct buried in the ceiling C and wall D, one end of which is connected to the suction pipe 2 via the rotating seat 6, and the other end is buried in the indoor wall D. It communicates with a dust collection chamber 9 provided therein. Reference numeral 10 denotes a cylindrical vortex generation guide plate provided in the dust collection chamber 9, and the suction collected by the suction blower 14 from the suction port 1 through the suction pipe 2 and the duct 8 into the dust collection chamber 9 is suctioned and collected. It creates a vortex in the air, gives high-speed rotation to the collected dust, and serves to centrifugally separate it, and the separated dust is discharged to the dust receiving tray 12 and collected there. and 13 is an outdoor hood that exhausts filtered air outdoors. Reference numeral 11 denotes an inspection door that can be opened and closed from the inside of the room, and is designed to allow inspection of the dust collection chamber 9, dust pan 12, etc. from inside the room. Further, 15 is a power supply relay switch, and 16 is a micro switch provided on the rotating arm 3 located approximately at the center of the suction tube 2.
When the switch bar 16a is pulled up and bent beyond a predetermined bending angle, the switch bar 16a is pressed and the blower 14

In the embodiment of the present invention configured as described above, when performing dental treatment, when the suction tube 2 housed above is pulled down and positioned near the patient's mouth, the micro switch 16 is activated and the blower 14 is turned on.
The circuit is automatically closed and suction starts from the suction port 1. In this case, the suction pipe 2 is connected to the ceiling C
The suction port 1 hangs down into the room via the rotary seat 6 and is rotatable, and is also connected by the rotary arm 3 so as to be extendable and bendable, so the suction port 1 can be connected to the medical chair B as if connected by a universal joint. It can be moved freely to the side, and each connecting rotating arm 3 is provided with a balance spring 7 and an adjustment knob 4, so the operation of extending and bending the suction tube 2 is extremely light and smooth. It can be held in any position. The dust scattered during medical treatment is sucked from the suction port 1, and is passed from the suction pipe 2 to the ceiling C through the interior duct 8 to the dust collection room 9.
are collected in. A suction blower 1 is installed in this dust collection chamber 9.
4 acts strongly on the guide plate 10, causing the dust and air to rotate at high speed in a vortex flow, and the dust is centrifuged and separated and collected in the receiving tray 12. In addition, an inspection door 11 that can be opened and closed from the indoor side is provided so that the dust collection chamber 9 and saucer 12 inside the room can be inspected, making daily maintenance easier and preventing accidental cutting drills,
Even if precious metals are sucked in, they can be easily recovered.

In this way, the present invention has a structure in which the rotary seat 6 is attached to the ceiling C and the suction tube 2 hangs down so that it can rotate freely around the vertical axis, so the length of the duct etc. can be minimized and the dust generated during dental treatment can be effectively removed. The ducts do not crawl on the floor like in the past, but are placed in a blind manner making effective use of the ceiling and walls, so the ducts do not get in the way. . Furthermore, there are no obstructions rising from the floor, making it possible to secure a wide treatment area and improve treatment efficiency. In addition, the suction port 1 is connected to the rotating arm 3.
By the action of the rotating seat 6, the suction tube can be easily moved to a desired position. Moreover, in this case, by pulling down the suction tube 2 only when in use, and pushing it upwards to store it when not in use, the blower's power is automatically turned on and off, requiring a separate switch operation. There is no.

In summary, since the present invention is constructed as described above, the rotary seat is attached to the ceiling and the suction tube is hung down so as to be rotatable around the vertical axis, so the length of the duct etc. can be minimized, making it convenient for dental treatment. It can effectively suck up the dust that sometimes occurs. In addition, the ducts are arranged in a blind manner making effective use of the ceiling and wall areas, and there are no obstructions rising from the floor, making it possible to secure a wide treatment area and improve treatment efficiency.
In addition, the suction port can be easily moved to the desired position by the action of the rotating seat and rotating arm, and the blower power is automatically turned on by pulling down the suction tube only when in use, and pushing it up and storing it when not in use. ON-OFF
There is no need to perform a separate switch operation.
