Claims (1)
- ミツシヨン３および差動装置４と共働してパワ
ープラントＰを構成しながらクランク軸５の軸線
を車両走行方向６に沿わせて車両Ｖに搭載される
エンジン１のシリンダブロツク１０には、前記ク
ランク軸５の軸線に直交する軸線を有しながら前
記差動装置４の一方の出力端に連なる水平な中間
伝動軸４２を貫通させる貫通孔３３が設けられる
とともに、シリンダブロツク１０の上部に結合さ
れるシリンダヘツド１１からの潤滑油をシリンダ
ブロツク１０の下部に結合されるオイルパン１３
に戻すオイル戻し通路５８，５９，６０が設けら
れる車両用縦置きエンジンのシリンダブロツク構
造において、シリンダブロツク１０が車両Ｖの左
右方向一側に傾倒して配置されるとともに差動装
置４がシリンダブロツク１０の前記傾倒側と反対
側に配置され、該差動装置４に連なる中間伝動軸
４２を貫通させる貫通孔３３は、シリンダブロツ
ク１０のクランク軸５軸線に沿う中間部の前記差
動装置４と反対側で外方に張出して設けられる膨
大部４３の先端に設けられ、該膨大部４３に対応
する位置でオイル戻し通路５８〜６０がシリンダ
ブロツク１０に穿設されることを特徴とする車両
用縦置きエンジンのシリンダブロツク構造。
