る。<Function> Since the current-carrying tweezers of the present invention are constructed as described above, when the shape memory alloy fixing means is held between the electrodes of the tweezers, a current flows through the fixing means. Then, the fixing means generates heat due to its own electric resistance, recovers its shape at a temperature above the amorphous transformation point, and tightens and fixes the tube to the connecting pipe.

Here, the lead wire 4 does not necessarily have to be buried in the main body 2, and may have a terminal formed at one end so that it can be connected to the electrode 3, and the other end of the lead wire 4 is directly connected to the power source. It may be something that has been done. Further, in the case where the lead wire 4 is directly connected to a power source, the main body 2 may be formed so that a battery can be stored therein.

After the fixing means 9 is inserted to the fixing site, the fixing means 9 is clamped with the current-carrying tweezers 1. Then, since the fixing means 9 is made of a shape memory alloy, it is heated by electricity, and
It recovers its shape and contracts, and the tube 8 is strongly tightened to fix it to the connecting pipe 7.

If the tweezers are raised, there is a risk of damaging the human tissue near the fixing means, whereas if the current-carrying tweezers of the present invention are used, only the fixing means will be heated, so there is a risk of damaging the human tissues near the fixing means. Never. In addition, it is very simple and can be heated in a short time, so the catheter implantation surgery can be performed in a short time.
