車装置の要部を示す縦断側面図、第４図は密封装
置の拡大断面図である。 １……ハウジング、１２……台座リング（回転
部材に相当）、２０……密封装置、３０……オイ
ルシール、３１ａ……円筒部、３１ｂ……フラン
ジ部、３２……主リツプ、４０……スリンガー、
４１……スリンガー本体。

Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 外径円筒部とその一端に形成された半径方
    向内向きのフランジ部と該フランジ部の端部に弾
    性材よりなる主リツプが形成された断面略コ字形
    のオイルシールであつて前記外径円筒部がハウジ
    ングに固定されるとともに、外部側に向けて配置
    されかつ該ハウジング内に挿通された回転部材に
    摺接する主リツプにより塵埃や水などの異物が存
    在する外部と油などが存在する内部との間が密封
    された前記オイルシールと、該オイルシールの外
    部側でオイルシールの外径円筒部の内周面もしく
    はハウジングに保持されて前記主リツプを外部か
    ら遮蔽するスリンガーとを具備し、かつ、 前記スリンガーの本体の内周縁が、該本体に比
    べて柔軟に形成されるとともに、該内周縁と前記
    回転部材間に密封部が形成されていることを特徴
    とする密封装置。 (2) 前記スリンガーの柔軟部分が、その付け根
    側より先端側を外部側へ向けて斜めに縮径突出さ
    せた形状に形成されていることを特徴とする請求
    項第１項に記載の密封装置。 (3) 前記オイルシールのフランジ部に、内部側
    に向けて拡径するよう斜めに延びる補助リツプが
    形成され、該補助リツプが前記回転部材に設けら
    れた一体又は別体の大径部分の垂直側面に摺接さ
    せられていることを特徴とする請求項第１項又は
    第２項に記載の密封装置。 (4) 前記補助リツプに、油戻し用のリブまたは
    凹溝が複数設けられていることを特徴とする請求
    項第３項に記載の密封装置。
