本考案は、或る長さの金属板材の端縁を屋根の
巾方向で接続して葺き上げるようにする板屋根材

本考案は前記した欠陥を除くことを目的とした
もので、或る長さの金属板材の長さ方向の端縁部
を屋根の巾方向で接続して葺き上げるものに於い
て、金属板材の長さ方向の一方の縁部に、一方の
溝壁、溝底、他方の溝壁を順次に折曲げて縦溝を
構成し、その縦溝の上端に止水堰を折曲げにより
設けると共に、他方の縁部に前記の縦溝の深さ以
内の折下げ片を形成し、隣り合つた金属板材の他
方の縁部の折下げ片を前記の溝の止水堰より下方
において当該溝に嵌めて接続する屋根葺を施す構
造にしたものであつて、屋根の巾方向で接続され
る金属板材の間に縦溝又は継ぎ目を生じても、そ
の縦溝又は継ぎ目から漏る雨水を該板材と一体の
縦溝で受け、止水堰により上方に逆流させること
なく、下方に葺いた金属板材の止水堰より下方の
縦溝に流すように出来る屋根葺を、簡易に施工で

溝底12、他方の溝壁13等の形成片を突出し、
溝壁11、溝底12及び溝壁13の各形成片の上
部に折線を一点鎖線で表わした止水堰17の構成
片を連続形成し、溝底12の構成片の最上端に止
水堰17に連続する外側折曲げ片17′の形成片
を設ける。また溝底12の下方に延長をなす舌状
片17aを形成する。縁部3の左方には折下げ片
18等の構成片を突出し、上側の縁部4から上側
継ぎ屈曲20を形成する構成片を突出し、下側の
縁部5から下側継ぎ屈曲22等の構成片を突出す

げ片を設ける構造により、屋根の勾配方向上方へ
の雨水の逆流を防ぐと共に、外見的には縦溝、も
しくは屋根の巾方向で金属板材と接合して生じた
継ぎ目を上下方向に連続し、又は千鳥に配置する
屋根葺きを容易かつ迅速に施すことができる効果
