(Problem that the invention aims to solve) However, even if it is attempted to install a sprinkler fire extinguishing system by installing pipes in the ceiling as in the past for structures with such large spaces, it is difficult to install a sprinkler fire extinguishing system by installing pipes in the ceiling. Because of this, it is difficult to install piping equipment, and furthermore, the monitoring area is very wide and the ceiling surface is high, and the ceiling surface fluctuates, so it is difficult to perform sufficient fire monitoring with conventional ceiling-mounted fire detectors. There was a problem that I couldn't do it.

(Means for solving the problem) The present invention has been developed in view of the above-mentioned conventional problems. It uses a simple equipment configuration to unmannedly monitor fires in large space structures, etc., and automatically monitors fires when a fire is detected. In order to ensure fire extinguishment, the area to be extinguished is photographed with a television camera, the position where the brightness has changed is detected from the video output of the television camera, and the position where the brightness has changed is detected by a position detection means. A thermal radiation detector detects thermal radiation energy in an abnormal area where a change in brightness has occurred, and a fire extinguishing monitor nozzle is directed to the abnormal area where a brightness change has occurred, and the output of the thermal radiation detector exceeds a predetermined level. When the extinguishing agent is obtained, the extinguishing agent delivery device is activated and controlled to release the extinguishing agent into the area where the fire occurred.

To explain in detail the function of the position detection device 4 to detect the position of a monitored area where a brightness change has occurred due to a fire or the like, when the ground 5 shown in FIG. 2 is set as the area to be extinguished, the television camera 2a is The television cameras 2b and 2
The TV cameras 2b and 2c monitor half of the area to be extinguished from different directions to obtain surveillance images. Corresponding to the monitoring arrangement of the television cameras 2a to 2c, the entire area to be extinguished is vertically divided into multiple divisions, for example, into 10 divisions, as shown by broken lines, as shown in FIG. 3, which shows the surveillance video of the television camera 2a. Then, divided monitoring areas A 0 to A9 are determined, and the presence or absence of a change in brightness of the monitoring image for each divided monitoring area A 0 to A9 is determined. A specific example of detecting brightness changes for each divided monitoring area is to convert the image signals of the divided monitoring areas A 0 to A9 in a steady monitoring state into digital signals and store them in memory as a discrimination standard, and then The image data of the divided monitoring areas A 0 to A9 obtained at each time is compared with the determination criteria stored in the memory to determine whether there is a change in brightness.

Looking at the actual fire extinguishing target area shown in Fig. 2, the function of dividing the monitoring image shown in Fig. 3 into 10 vertically and monitoring brightness changes shows that the TV camera 2a
This corresponds to dividing the monitoring area of 10 into 10 in the direction of orientation. The function of dividing the surveillance video vertically into a plurality of sections and determining whether there is a change in brightness is the same for the television cameras 2b and 2c. It is determined whether there is a change in brightness in each divided area. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 2, the television camera 2b installed at a position 90 degrees different from the television camera 2a.
The field of view of 2c and 2c forms an area divided into the same number of areas in the orientation direction, and the two-dimensional position of the area to be extinguished where the brightness has changed is determined by the intersection area with the divided area of the television camera 2a. It makes it possible to distinguish.

Subsequently, in block 15, the radiation thermometer 1a
Measured temperature T1 of the area to be extinguished measured at ~1c
-T3, and in the next block 16, the calculation device 3 calculates the temperature change ΔT for each of the measured temperatures T1-T3. This temperature change ΔT is calculated as the temperature difference between the previously measured temperature Tn and the current measured temperature Tn in block 15. Subsequently, in judgment block 17, the presence or absence of a temperature change is checked, and when the temperature change ΔT is less than a specified value, that is, a normal temperature change not caused by a fire, the processes of blocks 15 and 16 are repeated. On the other hand, if the temperature change .DELTA.T exceeds a specified value due to an abnormality such as a fire, it is determined that there is a temperature change, and in the next block 18, a check is made for a change in the brightness of the video outputs of the television cameras 2a to 2c. This brightness change check is performed by dividing the image of the monitoring area into a plurality of divided monitoring areas by setting markers as shown in FIG. 3, and checking whether or not there is a brightness change in each divided area.

Next, a judgment block 19 checks whether there is a change in brightness, and if there is no change in brightness, a judgment block 20 checks again whether the temperature change △T is large. If the temperature change △T is small, it is determined to be normal and the process is repeated. Return to scanning the measured temperature. On the other hand, even if there is no brightness change, if the temperature change ΔT is large, it is assumed that the temperature change is due to a fire or the like, and the process proceeds to block 21 for fire determination and position detection. Of course, if there is a change in brightness at determination block 19, the process advances to block 21.

In block 21, the two-dimensional position of the area to be extinguished, that is, the abnormal area, where the luminance change has occurred, obtained by the marker check in block 18, is detected as a divided monitoring area of the television cameras 2a to 2c, for example, as shown in FIG. The intersection, for example, the area indicated by diagonal lines, is detected as the position of the abnormal area, and since the temperature change ΔT is large, it is determined that there is a fire. The control after this block 21 is executed by the fire extinguishing control device 7.

That is, first, an abnormality alarm is output in block 22, and then a start signal is given to the pump control panel 10, and in block 23, the pump 12 is started by driving the motor 11, and the fire extinguishing water from the water source water tank 13 is used as a fire extinguishing monitor. Pressure is supplied to the nozzles 8a and 8b.
Subsequently, in a decision block 24, it is checked whether the fire extinguishing control is not controlled. That is, since this series of flows is automatic fire extinguishing control, it should not overlap with manual fire extinguishing control. If it is not controlled in the judgment block 24, a timer is turned on in block 25 to allow a certain time lag, and in the next judgment block 26 it is checked whether the extinguishing agent delivery device, that is, the pump 12 has started normally. here,
If the pump 12 is not started normally, a certain time lag is provided again in block 25, and the pump starting is checked again.

In the next block 27, the fire extinguishing monitor nozzle 8 is placed in the abnormal area detected by the position detection device 4.
Directional control is performed to direct a and 8b. This nozzle position control is carried out by, for example, the fire extinguishing monitor nozzle 8a,
8b has the ability to cover more than half of the ground 5, which is the area to be extinguished, as shown in FIG.
For the central part where the water discharge ranges a and 8b overlap, both fire extinguishing monitor nozzles 8a and 8b are directionally controlled, and for other areas, one of the fire extinguishing monitor nozzles 8a and 8b is directionally controlled.

First, in the steady monitoring state, the drive section 40 is kept in a non-operating state in consideration of the life span of the mechanical parts of the drive section 40. In such a steady monitoring state, when the position detection device 4 detects the position of the monitoring area where the brightness has changed based on the video signals from the television cameras 2a to 2n, this position detection signal is given to the drive unit 40. , the thermal radiation detector 1 is rotationally controlled by the drive unit 40 toward the detection position. Through this rotation control, the thermal radiation energy at the detection position is detected from the thermal radiation detector 1 and given to the fire extinguishing control device 7, and the output of the thermal radiation detector 1 is

In the above embodiment, multiple television cameras are installed, and the brightness change in each video is detected and the abnormality area is determined by a combination of detection positions, but the entire area to be extinguished can be covered with one television camera. By monitoring and finely setting the identification accuracy of brightness changes, it is possible to measure abnormal areas where brightness changes have occurred from the video output of a single television camera.

(Effects of the invention) As explained above, according to the invention, the area to be extinguished is photographed by a television camera, and the position where a change in brightness or hue occurs is detected from the image output of the television camera by a position detection means. Furthermore, it detects the thermal radiation energy in the abnormal area that has caused at least a brightness change in the area to be extinguished, and when this detection output exceeds a predetermined level, it starts and controls the extinguishing agent delivery device such as a pump and uses the extinguishing agent to start the fire. Because the system is designed to emit light into the area, in addition to monitoring changes in brightness or hue using a TV camera, abnormalities are detected using a thermal radiation detector at the same time. Since the output of the thermal radiation detector does not exceed a predetermined level even if there is a change in brightness or hue, there is no malfunction in extinguishing control compared to fire discrimination based only on changes in brightness or hue. Furthermore, in the early stage of a fire such as a smoldering fire, where only a temperature rise occurs, abnormalities in the area to be extinguished can be determined from the temperature measured by the radiation thermometer, and as soon as the smoldering fire progresses and a change in brightness due to ignition is observed, the location can be determined. Fire extinguishing control can be performed quickly through discrimination. Furthermore, even in large space structures such as outdoor exercise facilities, the area to be extinguished can be monitored and extinguished controlled simply by installing heat radiation detectors, television cameras, and fire extinguishing monitor nozzles. Even when ceiling equipment is installed, it is not necessarily necessary to install piping or fire detection means on the ceiling side, and fire monitoring and automatic extinguishing of large spaces can be reliably performed with a simple equipment configuration.
