[Detailed Description of the Invention] "Industrial Application Field" This invention relates to an improvement in an electric field treatment device for thick, highly viscous liquids such as sewage sludge. For example, when a liquid such as sewage sludge in which a large amount of organic particles are dissolved or contained, or a thick and highly viscous liquid containing a large amount of colloidal particles is treated by electrolysis using an electrode plate. As the electrical treatment progresses, the contained substances may undergo changes in quality due to the effects of oxidation, reduction, polymerization, condensation, etc., and may also undergo coagulation-sedimentation, foam-end flotation, and electrolytic precipitation effects. , adsorption, etc., and a concentration and accumulation phenomenon occurs on the surface of the electrode, the liquid surface layer, and the lower layer, making it difficult to diffuse and mix by one's own force. Electrical processing with substances locally concentrated in this way consumes a large amount of electrical energy for purposes other than the intended purpose, resulting in very low power efficiency. Efforts such as these are necessary.

``Prior Art'' Conventionally, as a means to prevent this phenomenon and improve power efficiency, the electrode plates used are kept in a plate shape and vigorously stirred in order to diffuse the uneven particles. , movable electrode plates, and rod-shaped or mesh-shaped electrode plates are used.

``Problem that the invention aims to solve'' However, when strong stirring is used, the agglomerated flocs that have been produced are destroyed by the electric treatment.
In addition, when using a mesh or movable type, there are problems with insufficient strength and increased manufacturing costs due to the structure.
Furthermore, even if the electrode is shaped like a rod, the surface area of the electrode is limited, resulting in a reduction in processing capacity.

``Means for solving the problem'' Therefore, in this invention, in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the electrode plate has been devised. In an electric field treatment device that is introduced into a tank and performs electric field treatment with an electrode plate provided in the tank, the electrode plate 1 is provided with a plurality of through holes 2, and the through holes 2 are connected to the electrode plate 1. A large number of them are provided at the upper and lower ends, and a small number are provided at the center.

``Function'' As mentioned above, by providing through holes in the electrode plates, the stock solution, which conventionally stagnates between each electrode plate even with strong stirring, can be circulated through the holes, making it possible to circulate the stock solution at low speeds. Mixing of the stock solution itself even with weak stirring,
Stirring, agitation, etc. can be done easily, and as a result of treatment,
This can prevent the formed flock from being destroyed.

"Example" Figures 1 and 2 show an example of an electrode plate according to this invention.
is a through hole. As shown in FIG. 1, there are many holes in the upper and lower portions, and fewer holes in the middle. When treating the stock solution with an electric field, for example,
In the case of sludge, the concentrate tends to accumulate in the upper and lower parts of the tank due to coagulation-sedimentation and foam flotation, but since there are many holes in the upper and lower parts of the electrode plate 1, , through which the concentrate can be circulated and diffused. As shown in Figure 2, if the holes at the top and bottom of the electrode plate are made large, the liquid flowing through these parts will circulate well, and the electrode surface will not be covered with floes, allowing for uniform mixing and stirring. possible and can be processed efficiently. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 3, when arranging the electrode plates 1 in the tank 3, if the through holes 2 of adjacent electrode plates 1 and 1 do not overlap,
Turbulent flow is generated in the stock solution between the electrode plates 1, 1, and mixing and stirring can be performed effectively. Next, Figure 4 shows
This is a graph showing a comparison of the results of electrolytic treatment of mixed sewage sludge (concentration 1%) using the device according to this invention and the conventional device, and the electrode plate 1 used in this comparison test was an aluminum plate. There are two types: one with a through hole 2 and one without any through hole 2.These were electrolytically treated by applying a direct current of 23V and 65A to each, and the transient properties of the treated flocs were compared using Nutstier. be. As is clear from Figure 4, when sewage sludge was treated using a constant amount of electricity, the permeability was improved by about 1.5 times when an electrode plate with through holes was used, and a stirring and mixing effect was observed. .

"Effects of the invention" As detailed above, the device according to this invention has the following effects:
Since the porosity of the holes at the upper and lower ends of the electrode plate is increased, and the porosity of the hole in the center is increased, the stirring and mixing effect is superior compared to conventional electrical processing equipment of this type. In addition, the structure is simple, the manufacturing cost is low, and the practical benefits are significant.
